throughout the three-day festival can now sit back, breathe easy
and relax.
One of the primary Fun Fest organizers, Erin Woodcock, felt
that everything went well again this year, despite the initial con-
cern that people would be kept away by the intense heat. Luck-

• The provision of basic services such as sewer and water; refuse disposal and recycling; roads, snow
clearing and other public works functions.
• The provision of recreation facilities and opportunities.
• Providing protection through Fire, Police and emergency services.
• Encouraging healthy living and a vibrant community.
• Promotion of our business, industrial and tourism communities.
• And of course – funding the Town’s operations through budgeting and tax collection.
• The foregoing are headings. Each of those areas has many facets that are dealt with on a regular
basis.
