Appendix: Model text: “My Family”

My family has four members: my mother, my father, my younger sister, and me. We live in a small town near the
sea. We like to watch series and have picnic in the park in our free time.

My mother is 40 years old. She is a doctor. She has brown hair and beautiful big, blue eyes. She is very hard-
working, and every morning she makes me my favourite sandwich for breakfast.

My father is 43 years old. He is an engineer and he works at a big company. He has beautiful blue eyes, just like
my mum. He has dark hair. Every evening, we ride our bikes in the park.

My sister is 5 years old. She is chubby, but very sweet. She has green eyes and blond hair. She likes to talk a lot.

We are a small, but very happy family.
