PREPARATION COURSE

FOR THE CM EXAMINATION

OF THE INSTITUTION OF
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
A 2-day course is offered for
Engineers intending to take the
IStructE Examination in 2011 and
for those debating on what the
Examination is about during the
weekend 8th / 9th of January 2011

The venue will be ‘The Four Point

Sheraton’ Hotel, Bur Dubai (5-
minute walk from the Khaleed Bin
Al Waleed Dubai Metro Station)

The course will cover

Examination Technique, Hand
Analysis Methods, mainly
Concrete Buildings but also
Steel, Timber, Masonry solutions
and also Water Retaining
Structures.
The interactive course will be taken by
Roger Westbrook Bsc., CEng.,
FIStructE, who has held many such
courses in the UK, Far East, Middle
East (including Dubai) and also South
Africa. Cost will be 2250 AED including
refreshments and lunch each day and
also include a pen flash drive of the
