Offering: We give tithes and offerings as a part of worship in
obedience, celebration, and thanksgiving to the Lord. It’s also just
our way of saying, “We love our church and we want to support
it!” If you are a guest, you are not expected or obligated to give.

Did you know… that Nguyen Van Dai (“David”) has been one of our leading
Christian advocates in Vietnam, representing Christians and others whose human
rights and religious freedoms were violated by the Vietnamese government? In
December 2015, David was arrested immediately prior to giving a talk on the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights and detained in an unknown location in pre
-trial detention for 19 months. He was charged with anti-state activities in July
2017. Finally, in April of 2018, he was convicted, along with five other human
rights advocates, of “carrying out activities aimed at overthrowing the people’s
CHILDREN'S QUIZZING administration” and sentenced to 15 years in prison, plus 5 additional years of

prison, plus an additional four years under house arrest. The good news is that
