Cementitious micro fine crack injection grout for structural repairs
DESCRIPTION
Alccofine 1108SR* is high strength, single
component, cementitious pre packed crack
injection, micro-fine grout powder. It is based on
unique PSD technology to facilitate effective filling
of deep fine cracks and voids. It has particle size
much finer than other hydraulically setting
materials like OPC. It is produced in state of the
art manufacturing plant in a controlled
environment resulting in consistent quality.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
 Crack and joint repairs by injection grouting for
RCC structures like storage silo, foundation
blocks, rafts, STP tanks, potable water tanks,
water bearing structures, roof, bridges,
basements, retaining walls, tunnel lining, etc.
 Joints in masonry structures, restoration of
heritage structures, dams, etc.
 Soil stabilization, permeation grouting, curtain
grouting, tunnel grouting, etc.

MIXING
Always add powder in to water. Add complete
bag in the pre measured water. Small quantities
up to 25 kg can be mixed with hand held
assembly of drill machine and mixing paddle with
400 rpm. Larger quantities shall be mixed with
high speed colloidal shear vane mixers of 1400
rpm. Typical mixing time is 5 to 10 minutes. Mix
until a smooth, lump free slurry is obtained. To
remove site contaminants from this grout, sieve
the slurry just prior to injection process.
PRECAUTIONS
Make sure to agitate mixed grout slurry in the
container continuously. Avoid leaving mixed grout
unattended. Make sure that adequate quantity of
grout is available for continuous injection process.
For better flow & flow retention properties;
temperature of water to be mixed should be less
than 200C. For vertical cracks, start injection
process from bottom most injection port. Clean all
the tools and equipment immediately after use
with ample amount of water.

PACKAGING
Alccofine 1108SR is available in 25 Kg bags.
Other pack sizes are available on request.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Bags containing Alccofine 1108SR should be
stored in well-ventilated, sheltered, cool, dry area
and protected from moisture, rain and heat.
Under such storage conditions shelf life of sealed
product is minimum six months from the date of
manufacture.
PPE: Hand gloves, goggles and suitable
respiratory mask shall be used.
PRECAUTIONS: Avoid prolonged contact with
skin. Like for all other micro fine materials, may
cause irritation to eyes and respiratory system if
inhaled. If swallowed seek medical attention
immediately.
HAZARD: Regarded as non-hazardous for
transportation.
DISPOSAL: Empty bags shall not be reused and
disposed off as per local rules and regulations.
