Finance & Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
o Provide guidance to the bidding community in pricing for complex bids and consolidate
cost sheets for bids involving multiple Business units.
o Ensure and Follow up with all business units to provide all required documentation for
BID ( including Bank Guarantee , Performance Bond and other documents )
o Responsible for financial due diligence of bids and for making recommendations to
Management.
o Evaluate terms & conditions from a financial perspective and mitigate financial &
commercial risk for Bid/Tender.
o Project wise Cost & Revenue analysis for all business units
o Track and manage the finance process for all projects to ensure that revenue, cost and
profit targets are controlled
o Monitor, identify, and communicate over costs to faculty & administrative staff and
resolve funding shortfalls for specific projects.
o Responsible to provide cost accruals and Work in progress for the projects based on the
Plan & assist in the monthly, quarterly & yearly end closing.
o Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data
for the purpose of determining past financial performance and to project a financial
probability.
o Develop complex financial reports for forecasting and results analysis.
o Reporting on financial performance for all the business units for monthly & Quarterly
reviews
o Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and
forecasts.
o Manages the control status of systems and processes, anticipates & initiates corrective
action on out of line situations by negotiation
o Participate in compensation management, semi-annual incentive compensation
payments.
o Reconcile, validate, and maintain opportunity details in Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications

o 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience


o MBAs are preferred
o Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics are preferred fields
o Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role
o CFA, CMA, CPA or like designations preferred
o Strong quantitative and analytical competency
o Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
o Advanced knowledge of Excel
