Installation Instructions
I. As far as the foundation acceptance is concerned, the following items

should be effectively checked.

1. Get the quality acceptance certificate for foundation completion

2. Check the centre distance and standard height of individual foundations.

II. Installation of support for lower part of filter (including frame beam)

1. Sort, count and pile individual parts transported to the construction

installation site according to the drawings.

2. Select and install individual members according to the order and the

arrangement drawing for column top, after first column is positioned,

install anchor bolts, wood bar is used for temporarily supporting column

to prevent it from inclination, continue to lift and install second column,

after it is positioned, screw the bolts, then install the prepared cross beam

and diagonal brace for support, two columns are connected together,

leave bolts un-tightened (easy for adjustment), by this method, continue

to lift and install, after the lifting and installing connection completion, all

the bolts should not be tightened, the centre distance and column top

standard height of individual columns are adjusted according to the

drawing, the plane parallelism column top can’t be over 5 mm, the centre

distance should not exceed 3 mm, the column top diagonal line should

not exceed 5 mm, the tolerance of column verticality is 1/1000, during

adjustment, if there is misplacement or inclination of the vertical column,

unscrew anchor bolts and place shim under the column foot plate for

adjustment. After all the supports are adjusted and qualified, tighten the
bolts for individual connecting pieces, start to lift and install the frame

beam. The lifting and installation is made according to the order as shown

in the drawing.

3. First lift and install the row beam A, the member is placed on the column

top plate, the positioning hole is fixed with the bolts so as to prevent the

member from slipping down, two beams are connected with the joint

plate, and fixed with the erection bolts, the rest may be deduced by

analogy, lift and install according to the order, after completion of lifting

and installation, adjust individual centre dimensions, the upper plane

parallelism should not exceed ±3 mm, the centre distance should not

exceed 3 mm, after individual dimensions are adjusted and qualified,

tighten individual connecting bolt, the correction should be made while

tightening, after the bolts are tightened, check them once, confirm that all

the bolts are tightened, spot welding nuts with electric welding, and all the

locations to be welded should be welded according to the requirement

given in the drawing.

III. Installation of dust bin

1. In order to meet the requirement of installation accuracy, the weld and

welding slag on the installation locations of the frame beam, middle box

body and dust bin should be ground flat with manual grinding wheel.

2. Connect two sections of dust bin with the bolts on the construction

installation site, adjust the centricity between upper mouth of dust bin and

dust outlet to±3mm, after adjustment, the seam inside the dust bin is

welded.
3. Mark the assembly centre line reference point of dust bin and flange outer

frame at upper mouth of dust bin on upper plane of frame beam before

dust bin is put on the frame.

4. Dust bins are lifted onto the frame beam one after another, the dust bin is

adjusted to the location of reference line.

5. From the flange centre at upper mouth of dust bin on both ends,

respectively place two plumbs, the tip of the plumb should be coincided

with the flange centre line of dust outlet of dust bin on the centre line of

AB and BC axial line, if there is misplacement, move the dust bin fro

adjustment.

6. Adjustment of flange centre line of dust outlet between ①~⑥ axial lines is

made according to this.

7. After the location centre and verticality of dust bin are adjusted and

qualified, continuously weld the flange outer edge on dust bin and frame

beam according to the requirement of the drawing, the welding standard is

shown in the drawing, there should be no gas leakage on the weld.

IV. Assembly of middle box body

1. Transport the wall plates of middle box to the installation site, place

them according to the installation order, get them conveniently.

2. Mark the number of each wall plate on upper plane of frame beam (the

number is given according to the number of installation plan of middle

box wall plate), mark the fixed location of each wall plate. The installation

should be made according to the fixed location, the position of other

plates should be occupied, otherwise there would be some difficulties for


installation of other plates. By doing in this way, each wall plate is lifted

onto respective location and the connecting fixing is made with bolts.

(the bolt should not be got too tight so as to be easy for adjustment).

3. After individual wall plates of middle box body are erected, the middle box

body consists of 12 compartments, according to the requirement of the

drawing, check the dimension of individual compartments, each

compartment is provided with two 500 x 800 air inlets, which are also

served as access for installation people.

4. Adjust the flange centre distance at upper mouth of middle box body and

plane un-parallelism of flange at upper mouth, at the same time of

adjusting individual dimensions, the connecting bolts for each member

should be gradually tightened.


5. Marked by drawings to install central air damper box into the group, group
consists of the lower baffle baffle, hanging panels, wind deflector beam
composition. First click the image to the appropriate location of the beam
assembly, the lower baffle and the bottom side of hopper angle missing you
L75X50 spot welding, spot welding beams above and, by drawing the
hanging plate and beam point solids.

6. Boxes installed in the end the whole, a careful examination, especially

V. Installation of upper box body and jetting device


1. Check flatness of upper mouth plane flange of middle box body, grind weld

flat, confirm if installation condition is available, if so, start installation.

2. Upper box body is divided into three sizes:

Upper box (I): 2 sets; upper box (II): 6 sets; upper box (III): two sets;
3. Installed on the plan by order of the cabinet, lifting the box placed in the
appropriate location.
4. After lifting and erection, the position is adjusted, adjust the centre distance

of air outlet of upper box body, after confirmed that the centre distance is OK,

weld all the connecting joint, the joint location of upper box body, the joint

face between upper box body and middle box body should be continuously

welded, it is required there should be no gas leakage between upper box

body and middle box body, otherwise the filtering effect will be influenced,

the blind plate should be erected as shown in the drawing. Before installation

of the blind plate, remove the trace produced during lifting and grind it flat,

then weld the blind plate.

5. Lift and erect upper box body, after welding work is completed, other

erection work for upper box body can’t be made temporally, until hot work for

the filter is finished, other work can be conducted.

VI. Assembly of ladder, platform, handrail and protection fence

1. Mark the standard height line of the position on each support and wall plate

of filter according to the general assembly drawing of ladder, platform,

handrail and protection fence, after the support is positioned and leveled,

weld the support, assemble individual ladders and platforms with bolts. After

the position and standard height are adjusted, tighten the bolts, weld ladder
and platform as well as platform and support, never place platform without

welding on support.

2. In accordance with the requirement given in the drawing, connect the

fencing of ladder and platform, the fencing of handrail and top of filter by

welding.

VII. Installation of compressed air pipe

1. Mark the location of pipe bracket according to the location shown in the

drawing, fix pipe bracket onto the wall plates of air bags.

2. Before installing the main pipe, all the foreign matters and ferric oxide in

pipe should be removed, place main pipe on pipe bracket and assemble

them. The bolts at the flange connecting location should be tightened, the

pressure resistance at the welding location should be 0.8MPa, after air

pipe is installed and qualified by test, it can be connected with air receiver

and tested together. After pressure test, supplement painting.

VIII. Miscellaneous:

1. After the filter is installed, its inside should be thoroughly cleaned, the

scattered bolts and nuts should be picked up. The welding rod and

impurities must be cleaned away, open Ф200 inspection hole of dust bin,

clean inside foreign objects, never let impurities get into dust delivery

equipment.

2. Installation of filter bag: before install the jet pipe, bag is inserted into the

hole of plate with openings, the elastic ring at upper mouth of bag is clipped

in the hole of plate with openings, get tight at edge of hole of plate with
openings, never let air leakage, otherwise the filtering effect would be

influenced.

3. After bag is placed into the cage, put the cage into the bag (if there is

deformation during transport and loading and unloading, before installation,

it must be fixed.), when placing the cage, you should keep it straight, avoid

it get bending to influence its quality.

4. Installation of jet pipe: when installing jet pipe, first place jet pipe onto the

cone pipe with 90゜ bend, the other end is placed onto jet pipe support,

fixed with bolts, 14 jet holes must be pointed to the centre of bags, care

check must be made, if there is tolerance, the fixed bolts on support of jet

pipe can be adjusted until it is OK, then tighten the bolts to prevent them

from loosening.

5. After installation of filtering bag, cage and jet pipe, put the cover, and press

the cover with the hand wheel, it is not allowed to have air leakage.

6. Supplement painting: painting will be made according to different

requirements of individual locations, see detail in the attached table.

Description maintenance operation
I. Structure and Working Principle
The pulse bag filter consists of the lower box body, support, dust bin, middle
box body, wall plate, filter bag and dust removal system for upper box body.
The dusty gas via pipe enters into the middle box body of the pulse bag filter,
then through spark capture device enters into the filter, the dusty gas is
entrained with spark and big particle dust, which are settled at the dust bin, fine
dust together with the current enters into each compartment where it is purified
by bags. The filtered gas is discharged into atmosphere via the collecting pipe
and the induced fan.
For pulse bag filter with long bags, the de-dusting compartments are arranged
in double rows. The air inlet and outlet ports are provided in the middle part and
on both side of the filter proper, the air inlet and outlet ports in the middle
adopts the off-line dust removal mode, the filter is the through chamber
structure.
The jetting cycle and pulse time of the pulse bag filter are controlled by the
pulse controller. When the resistance of filter bag is increased to a certain value,
the pulse controller in turn supplies power to solenoid valve of the pulse valve,
the pulse valve actuates, the compressed air via the jetting pipe enters into the
filter bag, at this time the filter bag is suddenly expanded to produce intensive
vibration, and under the action of reverse current, enabling dust cohered on
surface of filter bag fall into dust bin.
Ⅱ. Maintenance of Equipment
1. The running of the filter should be managed by special people who is
responsible for checking the filter and making the running records.
2. The management people should clearly know the working principle of the
pulse bag filter, well know individual parts of the filter, if the problem is
found, it should be timely disposed.
3. Often check oil level and water level in the compressed air system,
regularly drain water deposited in air pocket and pipe and oil deposited.
Keep the compressed air pipe, pulse valve and solenoid valve pipes clean.
4. Solenoid valve is easy to have malfunction which will influence normal
pulse and dust cleaning work. If malfunction is occurred, it should be timely
checked and removed, the tear and wear parts such as diaphragm and
spring should be timely replaced. If there is foreign object and impurity in
pipe, they should be timely cleaned away.
5. Often check the seal rubber gaskets in the sealing door, if it is found that
they are damaged and aged, they should be replaced timely, other
material which can’t reach to the sealing requirement can’t be used so as
to avoid air leakage from the sealing door and furthermore influence the
air volume to be treated by the filter.
6. The vibrator which is installed on the dust bin is used for dust cleaning
from dust bin, often check the amplitude of vibration and vibrational force
of the vibrator, if the vibration is too small, the dust discharge effect is not
good, if the vibration is too big, the equipment is easy to be damaged,
therefore the amplitude of vibration and vibrational force should be
adjusted to the proper extent.
7. If the pulse bag filter is not in operation, the dust inside the filter must be
removed, clear off fine dust cohered on the filter bag, to prevent the bag
which is not be used from damping, fine dust sticking will influence the
performance of the filter bag.
8. In normal operation of the filter, no dust discharge for longer time should
be avoided, otherwise dust inside the dust bin get harden and blocked.
Ⅲ. Trouble and trouble shooting
1. The reason why the running resistance of the filter is big:
(1) Dust is not cleaned timely;
(2) Failure of pulse valve or solenoid valve;
(3) Too low pressure of compressed air;
(4) The jetting nozzle is not blowing to the centre of the bag.
Trouble shooting:
(1) Regulate dust cleaning cycle, if it is the problem of the jetting pressure,
if there is dewfall or not used for longer time, the dust is stuck on bag,
the bag should be thoroughly cleaned, in this way the performance of
the filter bag can be restored.
(2) Check if the pulse valve actuates, if it is found that there is no action of
the pulse valve, it should be timely replaced.
(3) Regularly drain water deposited and oil dirt in air cylinder, enable the
pulse valve in normal operation.
(4) Check if the jetting hole of the jetting pipe is vertical to the centre of the
filter bag, if not so, make adjustment timely.
2. The reason why the air leakage of the filter is increased:
(1) Poor sealing of inspection door of upper box body and manhole door at
individual locations;
(2) Poor sealing of flanges at inlet and outlet of the filter;
(3) Not all full-length welding of the filter proper;
(4) There is air return case at the outlet of dust bin.
Trouble shooting:
(1) Adjust the sealing material of inspection door and manhole door, let the
material plat the function of sealing;
(2) Adjust the sealing material for flange;
(3) Check if the sealing for dust discharge port is good, if big air leakage is
found and is not easy to handle, a certain level of material should be
kept in the dust bin so as to solve the sealing problem at the lower dust
outlet.
3. The vibrator has too much noise
The reason of trouble:
(1) Poor fixation between the vibrator and dust bin;
(2) Improper adjustment of vibration head.
Trouble shooting:
(1) If the fixing bolt is loosen, tight it. The vibrator and dust bin must be in
good contact.
(2) Adjust the amplitude of the vibration head, in normal cases, when there
is no dust in the dust bin, it produces big sound, when there is dust in
the dust bin, it produces small sound.
