In the Observance of Fire Prevention Month 2018 with the theme “LIGTAS NA PILIPINAS ang Ating Hangad,
Pag-ingat sa Sunog ay sa Sarili Ipatupad”, the Victoria Fire Station under the Bureau of Fire Protection will be
conducting different activities to support the advocacy of the government towards progressive community through
fire safety awareness, active involvement and cooperation of the public in the campaign of fire safety.

In this regard, we would like to invite your school to participate on the “On-the-Spot Drawing Contest” by
sending us one (1) qualified student which is open to Elementary pupils (grades 1-6). One-fourth illustration
board shall be provided by our office. The Participant may bring crayon or oil pastel during the contest. Each
participant must submit a photocopy of their school ID and fill in the entry form provided by the BFP containing,
among others, the following: full name, address, name of school, age, sex, contact number, and a brief description
of the poster. All entries must have relevance with this year’s Fire Prevention theme/slogan.

The on the spot drawing contest will be held at Victoria Elementary School Covered Court Brgy. Nanhaya,
Victoria, Laguna, on the 20th of February 2018 (Tuesday) at 9:00 in the morning. The participants will be given
two and a half (2.5) hours to finish their drawings. Please feel free to comment on us regarding this matter.

All submitted entries shall become the sole and exclusive property of the BFP and may be published on its official
gazette without seeking permission from the owner or paying compensation for the acquisition of said articles.
The decision of the Board of Judges is FINAL and UNAPPEALABLE.

The criteria for judging are as follows:

Theme Relevance 30%


Creativity and Originality 40%
Aesthetic Appeal 30%
100%

The winning entries from Victoria, Laguna shall receive certificates and cash prizes. The cash prizes are as
follows:

First Prize Php500.00


Second Prize Php300.00
Third Prize Php200.00
