ABSTRACT
In our daily lives as Muslims and was ordered to serve. Allah ordered to work or effort. Work
is doing an activity in order to achieve the purpose, other than to make a living but also
ambition. In the work required to choose a good and lawful, since not all the work that
pleases God.
In the Qur'an and the Hadith are clear about the good work and how we get things in a way
that pleases God. It is very important debate, because everyone in this world is definitely in
need of food, clothing and housing.
Work is permissible thing to do. But will vary based on the intention of the law that emerged
from the work on the job. Work in earnest was organized devoted to personal Muslims
because Islam should not like people who are lazy and idle.
The work ethic is the spirit of the work. Work itself is making efforts to achieve the goal.
Work ethic required in executing a job because the work ethic, a person would be better off
in work. The work ethic is not only influenced by one factor alone. But many factors that will
determine the work ethic.
Prophet is a person who always do before he ordered his companions to do so. This is in
accordance with his duties as ushwatun hasanah; a good example for all mankind. So when
we talk about the work ethic of Islam, then he was the one who most deserves to be a
reference. And talk about the work ethic synonymous with the Prophet Muhammad spoke of
how he carried out the roles in his life.
