to become a New York City Firefighter. Steve made the ultimate
sacrifice on September 11th, 2001. “Bells will always be
remembered as one of Rockaway’s bravest Lifeguards.”
This college assistance fund was established to provide aid to
lifeguards who work anywhere on the Rockaway Peninsula and
