Jewellery is usually made from
metal that is mined from the
earth and this damages the
environment. However, this
jewellery is made with plastic
from children’s old toys. Plastic
has a long life so if you don’t
reuse it, it will stay on a rubbish
dump for the next four hundred
years!

You don’t have to spend
money to be fashionable. Why
not try to make some jewellery
household objects and some
elastic. Be creative and you
can make your own designs
