Transcript (consolidated) request procedure in a nutshell (Note: Pass-out students means Graduates received degree on 18 th Convocation

or BEFORE)
1. Have to download and take print out of the hard copy of Form from
FINANCE & ACCOUNTS SECTIONForms Miscelleneous FormsChallan for deposit of Library Fine/Grade Transcript
Fee/Others

2. Have to pay the requisite amount Rs. 20/- per copy for continuing student and for pass-out students Rs 50/- for normal transcript.

3. If one needs more copies he/she has to pay the multiple of the above mentioned amount (e.g. for 2 copies for continuing students it is Rs
40/-) in one form by writing the no of copies required and on payment for the same.

4. After payment in Canara bank the counterfoil of Acad copy should be dropped only in the box of Academic Affairs Section which is kept
and labeled for the particular purpose.

5. After four working days (Excluding the dropping day) of the dropping of the Acad copy one has to enquire the Academic Section about
the status of your transcript request by producing the students copy (payment counterfoil) and IITG ID card at students’ Visiting Hours
Only.

Note: The above mentioned four days for completion of the process may take more days in the circumstances like registration process,
admission, examination, result, convocation etc. So, it is always advised to get more copies than required and well in advance to avoid rush in
emergent situation.

And for the requirement of transcript inside different envelopes, one should write “in sealed envelope” on each part of the payment challan (Rs.
20/- per copy for continuing student and for pass-out students Rs 100/-). Remember that it will need more days to prepare as there are three
signatures of Academic Registrar of which two signatures to be put on the envelope after those envelopes are being sealed properly.

For applying and collecting the duplicate transcript of Pass-out students on behalf of him/her by authorization

1. The procedure of applying the duplicate transcript is same as mentioned above but in addition the pass-out student should send the
authorization mail to acadoff@iitg.ernet.in with the copy of the mail to the authorized person along with scanned copies of Original
Transcript and Original/ Provisional Pass Certificate. And the authorized person has to bring the authorization mail hard copy along with
the other documents of proof at the time of collecting the transcripts only at student visiting hours.

Note: the authorized person has to pay for the duplicate transcripts to collect the same. No provision of payment through transfer
payment by pass-out and collection by authorized person.
*** As there are huge number of requests pending, expect minimum 10-15 days delay in receiving the copies (FCFS type)
