RENISO K REFRIGERATION OILS

Special naphthenic refrigeration oils

Description Advantages/Benefits
RENISO K refrigeration oils are based on highly • Good solubility with fluorochlorinated hydrocarbons
refined, naphthenic selective raffinates that have been (HCFC)
dewaxed especially for use at low temperatures. Their • High chemical and thermal stability with ammonia
degree of refinement ensures that the RENISO K oils (NH3)
are extremely resistant to ageing when combined with • Excellent flowability at low temperatures ensures
any conventional refrigerant, especially with ammonia continuous heat transfer and enhanced system
(NH3), with HCFC- and with hydrocarbon refrigerants. efficiency
• Prevent breakdowns due to formation of wax
deposits at low temperatures
• Very low water content – dried before packaging
Application
RENISO KM 32, KS 46, KC 68 is recommended for
use with ammonia (R717), with HCFC- (e.g. R22) and Specifications
with hydrocarbon refrigerants (e.g. propane, propene,
isobutane) in open, semi-hermetic and hermetic RENISO K products are refrigeration oils according to
compressors. DIN 51 503: KAA, KC, KE
RENISO KES 100 is recommended for use in HCFC KAA – NH3 refrigeration oils (non-miscible)
systems, especially when high evaporation and KC – HCFC refrigeration oils (miscible with
condensation temperatures can occur, as e.g. in bus fluorochlorinated hydrocarbons)
and vehicle air conditioning systems. KE – refrigeration oils for hydrocarbon
refrigerants(miscible)
