Army Model Rules
Favours of the Dark Gods
A Character with a Favour cannot join a unit that contains any models with a different Favour than the Character.

Attack Attribute - Close Combat Universal Rule

Universal Rules
Battle Fever
Units with more than half of their models with Battle Fever must reroll any natural rolls of ‘1’ when rolling for Charge
Range.

Favoured Champion
The model gains +1 Agility, +1 Offensive Skill, +1 Defensive Skill, and +1 Health Point. Model parts with Harnessed
are not affected.

Irredeemable
The model cannot make Stomp Attacks and can make Grind Attacks as Supporting Attacks, ignoring the maximum
number of Supporting Attacks. When a model with Irredeemable is killed by a Melee Attack, remove it as a casualty
only at the end of Initiative Step 0. A unit with at least one model with Irredeemable may never have more ranks
than files.

Path of the Exiled
The model gains Stubborn in the first Round of Combat provided its unit does not have more ranks than files and it
is Engaged in Combat in its Front Facing. Units with Path of the Exiled cannot join or be joined by units with Path of
the Favoured.

Path of the Favoured


When the model Issues or fights a Duel, it adds +1 to the Combat Score of its side until the end of the Round of
Combat (note that this is lost if the model with Path of the Favoured is removed as a casualty).

Veil Walker
The model can target enemy units that are in base contact with it when casting Hellfire. When a model with Veil
Walker casts any non-Bound Spell, you may discard one Veil Token when declaring the target(s) of the spell and
activate one of the following effects:
- Secret of Flesh: Failed to-wound rolls from this spell must be rerolled.
- Secret of Separation: The spell’s range is increased by 6″. Aura Spells only gain +3″ range. Spells with type:
Caster are unaffected.
- Secret of Substance: Successful Armour Saves against wounds caused by this spell must be rerolled.

Armoury
Hell-Forged Armour - Armour
Follows the rules for Plate Armour (can be enchanted as if it was Plate Armour) . The wearer’s model gains Fearless.
If more than half of a unit’s models have Hell-Forged Armour, the unit must reroll failed March Tests (including when
mounted on a Gigantic Mount).

Spiked Shield - Armour


Follows the rules for Shield, except Large Cavalry do not gain +1 Armour for using it. This armour cannot be
enchanted with Armour Enchantments from the Common Special Equipment section. Whenever a model that is
using the Shield simultaneously with a Hand Weapon is attacked by a Melee Attack from an enemy model in the
wielder’s Front Facing, and it passes its Armour Save on a natural roll of 4+, the unit that performed the attack
immediately suffers a hit with Strength 4 and Armour Penetration 1. This is considered a Special Attack.

Manifestation: Universal Rule.
During Spell Selection, each Exalted Herald must choose two Manifestations from the list below and apply the
effects during the game. The model knows the spells indicated on the chosen Manifestations. This replaces the
normal rules for Spell Selection connected to being a Wizard Adept or Master.

Pierce the Veil: Special Attack.
At the end of your Movement Phase, you may choose an enemy unit which is either unengaged and within 12″
or Engaged with this modeland discard up to 3 Veil Tokens from you Veil Token pool. For each discarded token,
the chosen unit suffers D3 hits with Strength 4, Armour Penetration 0, and Magical Attacks.
The Reckoning: Universal Rule.
Whenever a friendly model with Hell-Forged Armour or Irredeemable is removed as a casualty, if its unit was
within 12″ of a friendly model with The Reckoning, you gain one Veil Token for each Health Point the model
(that was removed as a casualty) started the game with. In addition, at the end of Siphon the Veil, the army may
keep up to 6 Veil Tokens (instead of the normal 3).

Gateway: Universal Rule.
At the end of each friendly Magic Phase, each Hellmaw may do one of the following:
- Open a Gateway: Mark a single point on the Battlefield with a Gateway Marker. This point must be within
Line of Sight and 24″ of the Hellmaw, and more than 6″ away from enemy units. There can never be more
than 4 friendly Gateway markers on the Battlefield (including Ominous Gateways).
- Close a Gateway: Choose a friendly Gateway Marker with its centre within Line of Sight and 24″ of the
Hellmaw. All units within 2D6″ suffer D6 hits with Strength 4, Armour Penetration 0, and Magical Attacks.
Then remove the marker. If all friendly Hellmaws have been removed as casualties, immediately close all
Gateways as described above.
A friendly unit consisting entirely of non-Gigantic models with Hell-Forged Armour, Supernal, and/or Veil
Walker that ends an Advance or March Move in contact with the centre of a friendly Gateway Marker may choose
to enter the Gateway: remove the unit from the Battlefield. The unit:
- Is then placed back on the Battlefield within 3″ of the centre of any other friendly Gateway Marker. No
model can end up with its center farther away than its March Rate from the chosen marker.
- Must have the same formation, but may face any direction.
- Must abide by the Unit Spacing rule.
- Loses Scoring until its next Player Turn.
Only a single unit may exit the same Gateway Marker in each Player Turn.

Gluttony Model part gains +1 Strength for the game when it charges a Fleeing unit, or wins a combat
Attack Attribute - Close Combat and doesn’t Pursue nor Overrun (works only one time).
Greed Bearer gains Great Weapon, Halberd, Paired Weapons, and Weapon Master. +50 pts Special
Universal Rule Equipment allowance.
