Gathering, Recording, Researching and Investigation
STAGE 1
1. Did you do any research? Is it from more than one source? a) Taking picture of Zig Zag ? 5 pictures b) Draw a picture about Zig Zag? 5 pictures c) Do research about the pattern of Zig Zag ?
2. What have you done with this research? Have you acknowledged your source? a) Do Sketching? b) Do Drawing ? c) Acknowledge the drawing where it comes from? From the photos? From the pattern? Need to clarify in descriptions?
3. Have you described and analysed this information using art terminology. (Elements and principles of art) a ) What do you draw? Like what lines were included? Sharp line, thick lines, thin lines b ) Why do you choose the lines? Related to Appearance, shape, ties, space, harmony.
4. Have you done some direct drawing studies / observational sketches from this research? a) Have to do a drawing/sketching ?
STAGE 2 ( OBSERVATION BASED ON WHAT WILL YOU PRODUCE IN THE FINAL ) EXAMPLES : MASK OR MAKE UP OR B?
5. Did you do any research? Is it from more than one source? d) Taking picture of Mask or make up ? 2 pictures e) Draw a picture of the mask or make up ? 2 pictures f) Acknowledge the drawing where it comes from? From the photos? From the pattern? Need to clarify in descriptions?

Exploration and Development of Ideas
1. From your initial research and sketches have you now shown steps in the development of these first ideas. ie: A variety of possible compositions. a) A variety of composition : Change the media or techniques, change the shape or change the appearance of subject. b) Use toning in sketching to show development. c) Change the shape of subject
2. In what ways have you developed, changed, incorporated colour, shape, form, size, materials etc in these compositions? a) What kind of techniques that you choose to change the shape? b) What kind of techniques that you incorporated the colour, shape, form siza or materials?
3. Have you included any notes to accompany your compositional development? a) Explanation on the changes or techniques that have been made on subject?
A03 A02 ( 20 MARKS )
Organisation and Relationships of Visual and / or other Forms.
1. Have you considered why you chose or combined these colours, or that thickness of line, or relationship of neg. to pos. space, where do you want the emphasis to be in this work? Is there overall unity in your studio-work etc. a) Combination on colour, thicknesses of lines ? Relationship on space? b) Emphasis the main object? c) Show unity?
