Mary Ann Forrest Chapter
of the Order of Confederate Rose
July has been a busy month for the Mary Ann Forrest OCR.
We started off the month with an early 4th of July parade in
Clear Branch, where we threw beads and candy to the kids and
even some grownups on the parade route.

Next was a trip to Gettysburg for Brandi and Charla where

they participated in the 155th Gettysburg re-enactment along
with the Magnolia Rifles. It was an exciting trip and full of
sightseeing including a stop byArlington National Cemetery.

On Friday July 13th we served breakfast for the Florence

Police Department and had a great turn out!

And last but not least, Charla and Robbie dropped off school
supply donations to the Salvation Army for their Back to
School Supply Drive, from our Chapter and Camp 265 on July
16th.

August will bring a break in events with school starting back,

but you can bet your bonnet we will be back in action come
September. Special thanks to Mrs. Robbie for conducting a
fun and informative meeting in July in my absence.
