2.1.2 Contract info:-

 Contract Sum: RM 603,840.00 (excluding 6% GST)
 Commencement Date: 5th March 2018

 Contract Period: Fifteen (15) weeks
 LAD: RM 1500.00 per day

2.1.3 The commencement date of relocation sewerage works shall remain unchanged
to 5th March 2018. Consent between EW and SMD that no performance bond Info
will apply to this contract.

2.1.4 EW was again asked to forward the Contractor’s All Risks and Workmen’s
Compensation Insurance policies as stated in LOA to SMD and cc copy to OSE, EW
GRA and VTA.

3.0 Work Progress

3.1 Work done progress

3.1.1 The following work done is reported by EW according to Master Programme
(evaluated by OSE as result of EW did not provide the updated work progress)
- Target progress: 49%

- Actual Progress: 0%
- Delay/ Ahead: -49% (52 days)
*The percentage of progress of work done listed above is till to-date (25th April 2018)
4.0 Technical Matters

4.1 Construction Issues

4.1.1 EW to check the sewerage pipe and manhole level done by previous contractor.
EW yet to carry out the checking on the existing manhole invert level. OSE
EW
highlighted to EW shall bear for all the necessary consequences which might
arise on site.

4.1.2 RE advised that EW to ensure the diversion UPVC pipes are in proper order and
EW
the sump was covered in proper manner with some barriers for safety issue.

4.1.3 EW requested to send a copy of maintenance log of the sewerage by-pass to RE

weekly.

4.1.4 OSE advised EW to carry out an underground utilities survey. OSE again
reminded the existing utilities plan is only for reference. EW will need to bear
EW
the risk of discrepancy between the current underground utilities location and
the provided utilities plan if no additional survey carry out by EW.

4.1.5 SMD and OSE has reminded EW to follow up closely with TNB to obtain the
permit from TNB as soon as possible.

4.2 Documents Submittal

4.2.1 OS again requested EW to add in the work done progress summary in the
progress report. EW is required to specify the work progress status throughout EW
the contract period.

4.2.2 EW submitted revised method statement to OSE on 25th April 2018. However,
some items commented before still yet to be clarified. OSE had commented on
EW
the revised method statement and reverted to EW on the same day. EW has to
revise and submit to OSE latest by this week.

4.2.3 CE method statement had submitted by EW together with the progress report

during the meeting.

4.2.4 EW to submit as follow:

 Progress Summary – once a week (EW yet to submit to all parties)
 Progress Report – twice a month EW
 Site Daily – submit to RE daily and certify by RE.

4.2.5 OSE again requested EW to update work progress daily to all parties in prompt
EW
action.

4.2.6 OSE to evaluate the progress programme re-submitted by EW. OSE

4.3 Authorities Matters

4.3.1 DBKL
 Open excavation permit is obtained on 02 April 2018 valid until 04 May EW
2018. SMD advised EW to renew the permit by this week.

4.3.2 TNB
 EW reported CE absented for last week meeting (19th April 2018).
EW
 EW will attend a meeting on 26th April 2018 (Thursday), CE will attend
with EW for the method statement presentation in the meeting.

5.0 Contractual Matters

5.1 Claims

5.1.1 EW to submit progress claim 3 days before site evaluation to VTA and cc copy

to OSE.

5.1.2 Site evaluation will be on 28th of the month. EW
