ANNEXURE-A

A) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

a) Calibration & issue of calibration certificate for Electronic, Pneumatic Test and
Measuring equipments (T&ME) belong to the MAPS at site. Here after the MAPS
instruments are called T&ME.
b) Calibrators or Instruments used to calibrate T&ME shall have higher accuracy
than the T&ME. Here after instruments used to calibrate the T&ME shall be
called as Calibrators.
c) Calibration certificate should contain the following details:
• Calibration results
• Certificate validity date.
• Accuracy of calibrator and Traceability of calibrator w.r.t to their accuracy
and validity.
• If some of the T&ME are not meeting the original accuracy value, it shall
be qualified to lower suitable accuracy.
d) Issue of calibration stickers.
e) Any rectification of minor defects with prior approval of MAPS.
f) MAPS instrument Serial number shall be mentioned in the certificate.

B) TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a) Calibration Agency shall be NABL accredited with the competence of ISO/ IEC
17025:2005
b) All T&ME instruments are listed in Annexure-B
c) Calibration of instruments listed in Annexure-B shall be carried out at MAPS site
with calibrator brought to MAPS.
d) Once T&ME are issued, they shall be calibrated at MAPS within ONE WEEK.

TWO YEARS.
