Annexure-'A' whose names were sponsored by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission,
Bhubaneswar, received vide Works Department letter No.1,4296 dt.09.11.20 L6,are hereby
provisionally appointed to the post of funior Engineer fcivil) on contractual basis carrying
pay 9f Rs.9300/- fRupees Nine thousand three hundred) + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- only per
month without any allowance in Pay Band-Z of Rs.930 0 /- to Rs.34,80O/-as per the terms and
conditions of appointment attached herewith as Annexure-'B' and directed to submit their
joining report in the office of the undersigned pending issue of necessary detailed posting
order.

 ANNEXURE-'B'

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENGAGEMENT OF IUNIOR ENGINEERS (CIVIL) ON

CONTRUACTUAL BASIS UNDER WORKS DEPARTMENT

No traveling allowance is allowed to join the place of engagement of the Junior

Engineer (Civil).

The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis and liable to be terminated

without notice and assigning any reason thereof.

The funior Engineer (Civil) so appointed will be eligible for a consolidated salary of
Rs.9300/- (Nine thousand three hundred only) + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- in the Pay Band-
2 of Rs.9300/- to Rs.34,800/-. This is in accordance with Rule 10 of Odisha Group-B
Posts (Contractual Appointment)Rules,20l-3.They are entitled for annual increase of
contractual remuneration @1,00/o on Pay and Grade Pay taken together basing on their
satisfactory performance on completion of each year of contractual service in
accordance with Rule lt of Odisha Group-B Posts [Contractual
Appointment)Rules,20L3. They shall not be entitled to Dearness Allowance, House
Rent Allowance, Re-imbursement of cost of medicine & other allowances. Their
contractual services shall be renewed every year basing on their satisfactory
performances and can be regularized on completion of six years of continuous service.
They are entitled for leave under the provisions of the Odisha Leave Rules, L966. They
shall abide by the 0disha Civil Services Conduct Rules,l-959& shall be subjected to
Odisha,Civil Services(Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules,l-962. They shall be
enrolled under the New Pension Scheme contained under Odisha Civil Services Pension
Rules,L992 from the date of their contractual appointment made under Rule 9 of
Odisha Group-B Posts IContractual Appointment)Rules,2013.

iv. Refusal to accept the engagement will be treated as cancelled and the candidate shall
be deemed to be forfeited his claims for future engagement as funior Engineer [Civil)
under the Government of Odisha.

The engagement is subject to passing a test in Odia Language up to VII Standard.
