INDUSTRIAL AND COLLECTIVE

COOLING CIRCUITS

BWT CS-1001
 APPLICATION Scaling, fouling and corrosion inhibitor
BWT CS-1001 is usually applied in a complete treatment with free pH in the
following application areas:
- Cooling circuits, preventive and curative treatment
- Process water circuits

 UTILISATION  Dose: Used preventively, BWT CS-1001 may be employed diluted or

undiluted in softened or preferably demineralised water, and should be
injected continuously with a dosing pump. It is recommended to use a dose in
proportion to the feed water flow rate, taking into account the level of
concentration to obtain the recommended level of BWT CS-1001in the
circuit.
BWT CS-1001can be overdosed during start-up to ensure preparatory filming
of the surfaces to be protected.
Used curatively, undiluted BWT CS-1001can be injected directly into the
circuit to be treated.
 Monitoring: Measurement of acrylates – visual examination.

 ADVANTAGES  Protection against furring (calcium carbonates, tricalcium phosphates, iron

oxides etc).
 Preventive anti-scaling, anticorrosion and antifouling treatment obtained by
a single complex.
 Compatible with oxidising biocidal agents.
 Stable at high temperature and over time.
 Easy to use liquid formulation.
 High concentration of active ingredients: reduces both treatment and
operating costs.

are not intended to be absolute rules, but general recommendations to be adapted to the specificities of each treatment, due to the many factors beyond our control such
as the type of materials and design of installations, water quality, dosing conditions etc. Consequently we cannot be held liable for the results and consequences of that
adaptation, which is an initiative beyond our control, leaving the user responsible for any risks inherent in the storage, use and handling of our products. Our liability is
