 Lack of Storing Large Information.

 Redundancy Information.

 Fast Report Generation is not Possible.

 Computerization provides the user Easy way to Modify the


Records, and Fast retrieving capacity.

 Immediate Retrieval of Information.

 Better Sorting of Efficient Reports.

 Quick sorting of Information.

 Accuracy of data that is no Redundancy hence no


Consistency.

 Easy to Update Information.

 Checking Availability of book is easier.

 Searching records on computer is time reducing than in


registers.
 It will be more Easy to use for the user i.e. user Friendly and
gives the Facilities like Updating Records.

 It can also provide validation to avoid the incorrect Input


and Output and reduces the Errors.

 The user can prepare Result Speedily.

Shortcomings of current System


1. Time Consuming:-The present system manual system is very
time consuming. Whenever client enquires for a product the
manager has to manually go through various papers. Making the
quotation is again a hectic job for him. Manual system can result
in moving the jobs at slower pace and hence affect the business
transactions.

2. Expensive Process:-This may requires additional cost of buying


files and register.

3. Inconsistency and reductancy:-Since the data is reductantly


stored the integrity of the system is questionable. Some records
many lead to in-consistency.
4. Data Insecurity:-As there is no authentication of any sort,
important data may fall in wrong hands. Any person can access
confidential data.

5. Incapability of taking decisions:-When the client order is


received, the manager has to manually check whether the order
can be processed with the available materials. Thus it becomes a
simply tedious and hectic job for the manager.

6. Reports:-All reports are made manually after analyzing 2 to 3


files. This wastes time and increases the workload.
7. Human Errors:-While handling large numbers in calculation
there may be chances of introduction of errors due to overload
of work or carelessness which may cause trouble to both the
client and the company.
Scope of the proposed project

The Project made for the wedding card dealer includes the following activities:-

 Keep distributors, employee& customer’s information.

 Maintaining all stock, bill records, which note the total transaction for each

daily &for each month, year.

 Handling of register is very complicated job in this system, while proposed

system allows performing register handling in very easy manner.

 It is very tedious job to keep the information about customers, distributors,

employee& their bills, menu name their with their different rates to the

management within a short period of time.

 Proposed system gives stock report, employee idwise report and stock report,

daily and monthly transaction report in short period of time.
