DEMISE OF LEAD INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR, MR LEE KHOON CHOY

The Board of Directors of Koh Brothers Group Limited (the “Company”) is deeply saddened to announce
that Mr Lee Khoon Choy, the Lead Independent Director of the Company, aged 92, passed away on 27
February 2016.

Mr Lee Khoon Choy had been appointed to the Board as an Independent Director on 30 July 1994. Mr
Lee was the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, a member of the Share Purchase Committee and
a member of the Remuneration Committee. Mr Lee was also appointed as the Lead Independent Director
on 20 February 2014.

The Board and Management is deeply grateful to Mr Lee’s leadership, invaluable contribution and
dedicated service over the years and extend their deepest sympathies to his family.
