A 30 m long lossless transmission line with characteristic impedance of 50 ohms

is terminated by a load of 60+40i ohms. The operating wavelength is 90m. Find
the input impedance and standing wave ratio using Smith Chart.
2. A 75-ohm line of quarter wavelength is terminated with 125+ 40i ohm load
impedance is operated at 7MHz. Determine the input impedance using Smith
chart. Also estimate the reflection coefficient, SWR and the distance between
successive voltage minima in meters.
3. A lossless transmission line with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω is terminated
in a load impedance 40 + j30 Ω. Using Smith Chart techniques, determine:
a) The reflection coefficient Γ (magnitude and phase), and the VSWR
b) The input impedance seen looking into the line if it is 0.2λ long.
c) The length of line needed to make the input impedance look real (one
solution is sufficient), and the associated resistance value.
