‫ بحسب ما ذكرته‬،‫ شخصا آخر بجروح في انفجارات دمرت مسجدا في العاصمة العراقية بغداد‬80 ‫ وأصيب‬،‫ شخصا على األقل‬17 ‫قتل‬
‫مصادر طبية‬.

‫ وقال إن لجنة تحقيق ستقدم له تقريرا عن الحادثة خالل ثالثة أيام‬،"‫ودعا الصدر أنصاره الخميس إلى التزام "الصبر وضبط النفس‬.

At least 17 people were killed and 80 wounded in explosions that destroyed a mosque in Baghdad,
medical sources said.

Sadr called on his supporters Thursday to abide by "patience and restraint," and said a commission of
inquiry would report to him on the incident within three days.

‫ وإنها كانت نتيجة تفجير مخبأ ذخيرة في مدينة الصدر ذات األغلبية الشيعية‬،‫وقالت الحكومة إن االنفجارات حدثت األربعاء ليال‬.

The government said the blasts occurred Wednesday night, and were the result of the bombing of an
ammunition cache in the mainly Shi'ite city of Sadr.

The government did not specify the exact location of the hideout, but some security officials said it was
inside the mosque.

Sadr led a coalition of secular groups to win parliamentary elections last month, winning 54 seats out of
328 seats.

Sadr also leads a militia that fought US troops after the 2003 invasion of Iraq, but in recent years has
been backing US-backed security forces in the fight against Islamic state militants.

The government said it had launched an investigation to determine the cause of the blast, but another
report said it believed the blast occurred while the ammunition was being transported to a truck.

"They put the ammunition inside the mosque, and the ammunition exploded, and the houses were
