Architect Gianfranco Gandolfo moved to Mozambique in 1984 and worked as a teacher and trainer in visual
education for an Italian cooperation project. Between 1996 and 1999 he worked for the Department of Museums as a
consultant on a Makonde Art project. He has also curated several art exhibitions.
