LOST

I didn’t know where I was. I didn’t know how I got there or

how I was going to get out, all I knew was that I was lost.

I looked around, it was so dark that I couldn’t see my out

stretched hand in front of me but I could smell the musty smell
of damp wood. I assumed I was in a forest in England but
something told I could be mistaken, something slithered past my
leg hissing as it passed. I was terrified, my heart founded in m
y chat as I until I was certain that I was safe! It was at his
pain I realize I wasn’t safe at all, I rainforest and I had not
idea where.. I began to run, as fast as my legs could carry me
over the leaf littered floor, trampling on bugs as I went only
stopping when I reached the edges of the forest, here I
collapsed exhausted, afraid and alone.

I jerked awake, I could feel the heat upon my exposed back,

burning, the sun was beating down on my I attempted to move my
aching legs refused to co-operate. I was paralysed. I lay there,
at the edges of what could only be described as a jungle, not
able to walk or even crawl, my only hope was to drug through the
trees along the jungle bed over the mad, leaves and insects
swarming around my body trying to find the way I come in.

My hands began to ache as I reached a gap in trees where the

light was creebing through hear running water.

STUDENT ISSUES

Student life has many benefits, but it also imposes inevitable

stresses. Below, we’ve got different sections on common student
pressures and problesm check them out to get tips on how to
manahe them and avoid triggering or worsening stress or
depression.

I recently had the good fortune of observing a teacher of the

emotionally hand capped implementing a guided problem solving
process with two kindergarten aged students in her class. The
students where about to start a lesson on letter-sound
correspondence. The teacher was going to play an audio-tape. The
student where two choose from a variety of items, to help them
follow along the problem arose when two boys both. Wanted the
same item,

Who in their write mind thought that high school students should
get up in the dark when there natural rhythm is just the
opposite? Who in their right mind would put the most
inexperience drivers on the road before the sun is even up? What
a morning fight 180 days a year? What teacher in his or her
right mind would want to motivate their first period class! Only
some one who is actually in their right mind would move the
start time of high school to sensible 10 am.

Soil erosion

What is soil erosion?

Soil erosion is an naturally occurring process that effects all

land forms. In agriculture, soil erosion refers to the weeding
away of a fields top soil by the natural physical forces of
water (figure 1)and wind or through forces associated with
farming activities such as tillages.

Erosion, whether it is by water, wind or tillage, involves three

distint action-soil detachment, moment and fertility and soil
life, is relocated else where “one site where it fills in
drainage channels. Soil erosion reduces cropland productivity
and contributes to the pollution of adjacent water courses,
wetlands and lakes.

Soil erosion can be a slow process that continues relatively

unnoticed or can occur at an alarming rate causing serious loss
of soil. Soil compaction law organic matter, loss of soil
structure, poor internal drainage sanitation and soil acidity
problems are other serious soil degradation conditions that can
accelerate the soil erosion process.

A SPECIAL PLACE

I went to the tiki tiki restaurant for my mom’s birthday. It was

a special place because it was decorated like Hawaii. First I
got fruit juice in a real pineapple cup. It was delicious! Next.
I tried pullet pork, the purple potatoes, and the rice. Finally
there was a show with hula and fire dances, it was so exciting!
I was a great time at the tiki tiki restaurant I hope I can go
there again.
