I believe there is probable cause to charge the defendant with these charges because:
On 8/6/18, South Ogden Officers were dispatched to 3700 S Washington Blvd on a report of a female body lying
on the ground with flies on her. Upon further investigation it was determined that the injuries to the body were
obvious stab wounds.
The woman who was deceased was identified by Officer Christensen who had dealt with the deceased on prior
cases. It was reported that resided at 3725 S Washington Blvd Apartment #5 in South Ogden.
Two other residents that reside with deceased female at 3725 S Washington Blvd #5 are Jesus Martinez Ramos
and another female.
Both the female, and Jesus agreed to be transported to the South Ogden Police Department.
Upon arrival to the police Department both the female and Jesus were escorted to the interview rooms and
advised of their rights per Miranda. Both parties waived their rights and agreed to talk about this case.
During the interview, Jesus admitted to stabbing the deceased female vicitm several times, and later carrying
her body to where it was later discovered. Jesus also admitted to cleaning up the crime scene and discarding all
possible evidence in a dumpster in close proximity to the house. Jesus also admitted to having injuries to himself
as a result of him stabbing the vicitm.
The other female admitted to being at the residence when the vicitm was stabbed, the female also admitted to
watching Jesus stab vicitm with a knife. The female also stated that Jesus had threatened to stab her if she told
on him.
The murder weapon was later discovered in a dumbster in close prximelty to the murder scene where Jesus
admitted he discarded it.
