Company Profile:-
Measar Salab& Bros: Main construction contractor for supply of labour force (Skilled and unskilled
including RIG personnel), Machinery and local & International purchase to PETROLEUM
PRODUCTION COMPANIES namely PETROMASILA, CANADIAN NEXEN, DOVE ENERGY, CALVALLEY
PETROLUEM, CCC and YEMEN LNG in Yemen.

Main civil contract for MARIB 450 MW POWER PLANT PROJECT IN YEMEN (UNDER INDIAN
COMPANY “BHEL” SUB CONTRACT).

Service provider of Civil works for oil field Roads and Well Site preparation for Oil Companies.
The company was maintaining three contracts with Nexen namely, GMC-manpower &
equipment(Block 14), Oil well Preparation & manpower supply (Block 51) and Vehicle Lease (Block
51). Provided services to Consolidated Contractors Co. (CCC-Block 33 & 45), Calvalley Petroleum
(Cyprus) (Block 9) and Yemen LNG Co (TOTAL) at Balhalf.

At present, we are working as a subcontractor (civil) to CCC, HITACHI and PETROFAC at Saudi Arabia
for ARAMCO Jizan Refinery & POWER PLANT project.

Highlights- Duties and Responsibilities.

 Manage the labour force of more than 1500 employees, recruit proper manpower to supply
for client need and arrange accommodation and transportation for them according to client
requirement.

 Coordinate with clients and head office for progress reports, procurement and logistics
requirements and status, preparation of biding and quotations etc.

 Coordination between BHEL and Measar for Maarib Power Plant Project- attending meetings
with General Manager, communicate and resolve issues with BHEL and Yemen Electricity
Corporation, coordinate with suppliers for purchase etc.

 Review and assess new contracts upon award concerning equipment availability and
personnel readiness, to ensure timely compliance and meeting contractual requirements.

 Maintain regular contact with clients to evaluate their satisfaction with our services and
resolve any ongoing issues.

 Continuously review project personnel performance, needs, clients’ feedback, daily site
reports to make sure project personnel are guided and supported to deliver our company’s
contractual obligation.

 Assist the General Manager in preparation of bids for potential rental, Lump sum, and other
major projects.
 Works with Accounts and Office Administrator and supervise for correct invoicingfor ongoing
projects and follow-up payments.

 Resolving Receivable / Payable issues

 Assisting in the development of company QA/QC &HSE policies and procedures.

 Attending and Heading the Safety Meetings. Arranging in house and third party training and
certificates for employees. Preparing Safety and Man hour records for los hour evaluation and
submission to clients.

 Maintain contacts with current and potential clients.

 Coordinate with site Supervisors with regards to manpower availability for current and
upcoming jobs

 Keep a list (update and recruit if needed) of qualified field technicians/engineers for
upcoming employment depending on work requirements.

 Coordinate with Workshop Supervisors to make sure workshop equipments and personnel
are readily available for the project.

 Coordinate with Materials Supervisor to ensure updated equipment inventory, on time


equipment deliveries, proper record keeping of shipped and received materials.

 Regular assessment of equipment capabilities to maintain availability of essential required


equipment for ongoing, upcoming and potential contractual commitments.

 Coordinate with Procurement Administrator to ensure on time delivery of correct purchase


orders.

 Coordinate with Local authorities like Labor office, Local representatives, Military and
Security personal for any issues related to ongoing job.

 I joined as a Senior Assistant in Accounts department and got promoted to senior Accountant and
