Structural Engineering:
Progress:
• Aft Mezzanine Deck - 95% completed, Hose Reel Foundation - 95% completed
• Structural Analysis of crane foundation - 95% completed
• Structural Analysis of forward mezzanine deck - 95% completed
Obstacles:
• Stress Concentration in free edges (RG).
• Maximum stress in model - around 360 MPa (HG).
Remedial measures:
• Maximum Stress in the Model - 250 MPa. Trying to reduce this further by removing free edges
(RG).
• Loading overcalculated. Will change the load to decrease stress from 360 MPa to less. (HG)
• Re-meshed the model of forward mezzanine deck as initial analyses failed due to connectivity
problems (RK).
Target for next week:
• Complete structural analysis of the above components.
• Preparing report.

Design and Drafting:

Progress:
• Crane detailed drawing completed but need to be modified as per latest GA.
• Forward mezzanine deck- 0% completed.
• Aft mezzanine deck- 95% completed, Structural fire protection plan-90% completed, Fire Control
Plan-90% completed, life saving appliances 75% completed.
Obstacles:
• Modification of plans.
Remedial measures:
• Redoing the entire work due to repeated modification of plans.
Target for next week:
• LSA Plans
• Forward Mezzanine Deck
• PCWPP1
Misc. Issues:
• None

Pipeline Engineering:
Progress:
• 10 % model of nitrogen pumping circuit done with available information
Obstacles:
• Isometric drawing with tentative supports markup and other design parameters/specifications
including support standards are not available.
Remedial measures:
• Need complete input data at the earliest.
Target for next week:
• Will use available information but rework will be done again after getting actual inputs
Misc. Issues:
• Need completed input data at the earliest
