TOPOLOGICAL MAPPING1 OF THE MEON

Ingress
Much has been written and said on the subject of the Meon, the backside of the Tree of
Life, qliphots, atavism, and so on... but there is still lot of confusion and messing up of terms and
concepts. Perhaps one of the biggest problems lies in the fact on which Bertiaux points in the
following quotation: ...this daemon Choronzon helps to keep the passage way, the Great Doors
of the Unknown Universe B, open to us, but closed to other workers of magic. If they say that
they have contacted Universe B, what they report shows that they have reached up only to
Universe A in its astral form and that they have not gone into the other Universe.2 So, how would
we distinguish the experience of Astral from that of the Meon? Why is so difficult to reach icy
realm of nothingness beyond Chronos-Saturn over which Baron Lundi presides? First of all we
must know where to search and second how to enter. If we eventually solved these two
problems, we must cope with even bigger ones, the oniric anomalies in parallel worlds, which
are qliphotic dislocation of our consciousness. Our mind is not able to operate in acasual logic of
the Nothingness. This ontological dizziness, produced from contact with the Meon, is so
tremendously fatal for normal consciousness, that is totally impossible to mistake it for more or
less benevolent contact with astral. It is easier for the unconscious to understand the language
of dreams than that of rationality, so we must try to find explanation though symbols and
imagination. At the Event Horizon of our universe there are Pylons as portals of the Daath which
are guarded by Shugal as the howler in the desert. To pass beyond, it is only possible with the
guidance of the Voudon God of Death, Guedhe Nibbho, who rules the qliphotic dimension. So,
let’s enter yellow sphere of the Northern Cross, Guedhe Nibbho will be illuminating our path.

Being and Nothingness - the world far beyond the Pleroma

Esoteric Voodoo is actually a highly practical procedure for leading us into making
contact with our deepest levels of being and most ancient modes of consciousness, through the
dark spirits of the universe that operate on the same frequencies. Man in reacting to all this
cosmic influences unconsciously and unsystematically erupts with energy of his own, which
manifest itself as inspiration or delusion, creative rapture or madness delirium. These dream
shapes, terrible though they be, serve to establish and keep open the door-frames enabling
magicians at will to enter the Tunnels of Set and pass over into the unknown "Universe B."
According to Bertiaux, Meon designate Universe B which belongs to realm of non-being which,
as we could guess, has very different rules of logic from ours Universe A. The study of Universe
A is called "ontology", or the science of being-, while the study of Universe B could only be
called "meontology', or the study of non-being”3. Here we are confronted with oldest and
rudimentary philosophical controversies: whether Non-Being, like Being, exists? Greek
philosopher Parmenide, in the early 5th Century BC, asserted in a poem that only the 'Is' is,
whilst to speak of the 'Is not' is to take a ... wholly incredible course, since you cannot recognise
Not Being (for this is impossible), nor could you speak of it, for thought and Being are the same
thing. Accordingly, to Parmenides, Non-Being was analogous to Non-existence. On the other
hand Pythagoras claimed that a kind of Non-Being does indeed exist - the void is not nothing at

 This philosophical problem still persist till ours modern days, to mention just obvious
examples - philosophers like Heidegger4 or Sartre5. But what is of our interest is actually this
problem of the Void. We can approach this problem from different angles. If we considered
Eastern philosophy, which is closest to our mystical approach, then Meonic Nothingness (or the
Void) is not just negation of positive Something. This Nothingness is far beyond usual western
dualism, it may be realised by abolition not of the positive factor alone, but also by the negation
of the negative factor which remains after abolition. This double process results not in an
absence, which implies a presence, but a double absence which abolishes the presence implied
by initial absence. What remains is total absence – Sunyata. The Idea that things can cease to
exist and still be, is a fundamental one in Eastern philosophy and of greatest importance in order
to understand weird logic of the Meon.

Where to search - part one: the spider in the trunk of the Tree
Another way around that subject (the Void) is to use Kenneth Grant’s teaching about the
Tree of Life and his shadow side. Kenneth Grant has explained in his seminal work “Nightside of
Eden” how he has come to idea about Sephiroth as globes instead of wheels or discs by the
inspiration from Frater Achad reversion of the Tree. This revelation leads to today’s
understanding of the backside of the Tree (or as someone would call it – the Tree of Death6)
with Sephiroth as spheres and Tunnels of Set as hollow tubes of paths between them.
Traditional qabalistic Tree of Life used in Western esotericism deal with all phenomena (from
physical to metaphysical) in our universe, and the Void according to this tradition is the abyss
that separates the supernals from the remainder of the Tree (Kether, Chomach and Binah, from
the rest of Sephires), but the real Void, or the Meon about which I want to speak is, as Grant has
said ...not the abyss that separates the supernals from the remainder of the Tree, but the abyss
that exists within the central column or trunk of the Tree, the Nothingness that radiates All, the
spider at the centre of the web of the outer or illusory universe.7 The path that man has projected
to connect the cosmic power-zones (Sephiroth) with his own consciousness, have their
counterparts in Tunnels of Set, or this already mentioned abyss inside the trunk of the Tree of
Life. This is inherent emptiness which resides inside every Actuality. We could identify this abyss
or the Void with immanent emptiness inside our mind, the blackhole of unconsciousness. If we
meditated deeper about that subject, we can get to conclusion that inner emptiness or emptiness
of our consciousness, in which our thoughts are floating, is identical and the same as the Void,
“empty space” in which all manifested phenomena floating. Inner phenomena, emptiness that
contain our thoughts, and outer phenomena, empty space that contains objects including us as
subjects, are connected as some kind of a glove.

Where to search - part two: New Physic, the quantum foam and the voltigeurs
Here, I would like to have small digression to look on modern physics in the search for
similar concepts. We have learned to think that the empty space around us separate us from all
other things. Also it is taken for granted that all planets and stars floating in empty space
creating our universe. If we go in totally different direction, from this wide cosmic space to
smallest sub-atomic level, there also laid wide empty space, in a way similar to cosmos. All our
worlds that we know, from microcosmic to macrocosmic, belongs to so called space-time
continuum in which all that is exist. That space-time continuum is, by Einstein’s hypothesis, not
Euclidean, but curved. The curvature of space-time is difficult to conceptualize without thinking

of space-time as having some substance (it is hard to understand concept that emptiness could
be curved). But it is the nothingness itself that is curved. The substance of this nothingness is
true basic building block of matter or in the other words the Void is from where our materiality
came. As Bertiaux has been written: ... The Father eternally came forth from the Meon, from
whence rises everything. The Father contains all things in His fullness. He is the image of the
Meon which is not the Meon. He is Her Son8. So, we can conclude from this short quotation, that
everything came from the Meon, including manifested reality (tangible and not tangible reality, or
philosophically more precise, actuality –all that is or exist) which is here called the Father. And
secondly, manifested reality, or the Father, is just image of the Meon, or emptiness (or anti-
matter) from which is build, but in itself he is not anti-matter, he is of course – matter as such.
To understand the Meon and its functioning, we must go deeper into occult subject but at
the same time into the new physic. American theoretical physicist, one of the later collaborators
of Albert Einstein, John A. Wheeler has said that – there is nothing in the world except empty
curved space...matter, charge, electromagnetism and other fields are only manifestations of
bending of space... Physics is geometry... or as Bertiaux would say Leghba geometry. The fabric
of space-time or “superspace” is composed of turbulent sea of bubbles9. These bubbles are
warp and weft of empty space and comprise what Wheeler calls the “quantum foam”10. Wheeler
proposes that these bubbles in quantum foam, which are produced by various electromagnetic
and gravitational forces, act as “wormholes” through the fabric of space-time and they can
connect two different (or very far) regions in space. These wormholes create a quantum
interconnectedness in which every point in space is connected to every other point in space,
which is quite similar to holographic concept of universe. It is not difficult to conceptually connect
wormholes with the Tunnels of Set. The web-like network of the reverse Tree, with his tunnels
and power-zones, resembles “worm hole” through which is possible to make jump through
super-space typified by the voltigeurs11. Similar concept is exposed in R. Crosley’s book “The
Vodou Quantum Leap”12 in which he trying to explain some magickal practices in Zobop and
Bizango secret societies in Haiti. The core of theirs rituals is the Petro Zandor rite which deals
with dark-matter entities from Voudon lineage. He tries to explain phenomena like lychantrophy
and other magickal practices from Loupgarou, Makanda, Zobop and other groups with the
quantum jump and fractal expressions of space-time continuum, but felt short, explaining one
unexplainable thing with other even more unexplainable. Well, the idea of connecting the new
physic with magickal and mystical phenomena was quiet useful, so I try to go little bit further.

How to enter - part one: tachyons and wormholes that make magick works
Jack Sarfatti, an American UseNet celebrity and a theoretical physicist, has elaborated
upon already mentioned Wheeler’s ideas and hypothesized that they are actually miniblackholes
and miniwhiteholes and they compose curved empty space. The circular path of the ring
singularity of a rotating blackhole moves through two space-time sheets, that is, an ordinary
universe of positive mass and ghost universe (Universe B) of negative mass. The two universes
are connected through the ring, which acts as a magic looking glass13, or mirroir-fantastique.
This ring is Daath-yesod – the key zone which gives access to the other side of the Tree of life.
The Spider-Queen of Infinite Space joins the secret tunnels at the back of the Tree with the
paths manifesting in the objective – casual universe with his web. From a perspective beyond
the quantum foam (Universe B), or literally beyond space-time, the Universe A would seem to

have no dimensionality at all – it became the point – Bindu. This point of singularity is the place
from where The Spider-Queen of Infinite Space weaves his net. A similar situation is
encountered in dream reality. We dream three-dimensional spaces with objects in it, but the
dimensionality of dream has no presence outside dreamer. The consciousness of the dreamer
generates the space-time of the dream. During this our minds may produce some force or field
which affects this space-time code. During the deep meditation the human brain activity is
slowed down from Beta range (13-40 Hz) through Alpha states of relaxation (7-12 Hz) to Theta
waves (4-7 Hz) which correspond to the hypnagogic state or even Samadhi. But what are of our
interest is actually strange phenomena of synchronisation of the Theta waves and ultra high
Gamma waves (40-100 Hz). When the lowest of the Theta state is reached (on the threshold of
the Delta state or deep sleep) must be held for a slight amount of time without rising and falling
and at some point Gamma state will be triggered. When the high Gamma state is achieved the
various extrasensory perceptions is possible. Actually all magical work is done in that state. I my
opinion, during this so high brain activity, it is possible that induced electro-magnetic field can
produce some particles like so called tachyons14. According to Olexa-Myron Bilaniuk and
George Sudarshan15 theory, tachyons exist outside the light cone, or literally beyond time and
space16. The light cone is actually diagram used by mathematician Herman Minkowsky which
noted an Event on set of four Cartesian axes to map four-dimensional space-time. Every point in
space can be thought of in terms of a light cone with spatial dimension horizontal and time
dimension vertical. The double cone is generated by signals travelling into and out of point of
Event with the speed of light. The Event which falls outside this cone of light will be literally
outside space-time. Existence of tachyons suggests that some portions of our universe exist
outside time. These particles can travel through wormholes in a quantum interconnectedness
and causes lot of strange phenomena such as retro-causality, synchronicity and at least - make
magick possible.

How to enter - part two: built up dreams by his own brightness

Have this weird hypothesis from new physic has any sense in the real world or in our
voudon-working? Human mind does not perceive what is “there”, but what it believes should be
there. Actually, “there” is no light or colour, there are only electro-magnetic waves; “out there” is
no sound and no music, there are only periodic variation of the air pressure; “out there” is no
heat and no cold, there are only moving molecules with more or less mean kinetic energy, and
so on. Our reality is semantic creation largely constructed on our cultural beliefs. What we call
reality is learned. So we must in our search we must dig deeper. As Bertiaux has said: ... The
physics of the transcendental layers of the id must not be understood as conceptual in any form.
They are totally mythical or sci-fi in character, because the evasive nature of the most primordial
and ultimate level of reality will never surrender itself to the tidy boxes of the ego.17 Magician
must tear himself apart and built himself up and dreams by his own brightness, by his own light
and becomes self-illuminated. The universe is a hologram, dynamic web of interrelated events in
which each part of the web determinates the structure of a whole. Our thought processes are
also holographic, so all of our thoughts are infinitely cross-referenced with all other thoughts.
There are universes inside our heads – universes superimposed upon universes. Man’s mind
mirrors a universe which mirrors man’s mind.18 They are not just interconnected but also

simultaneously create one another, this paradoxically circularity is known in science as tangled
hierarchy19.
Now according to esoteric engineering, the magician is also a scientist and as such a
magico-scientist works with fields and with machines, usually those of his own invention (cf. the
M.S.R., 3rd year course). There are already in existence certain of these machines for exploring
the deeper regions of the Meon, but the main methodology could be best expressed in
Bertiaux’s words: ... there is only one method, and that is to reverse the magical equations which
one would use to explore and to approach Universe A, because Universe B is the logical
opposite of our own Universe, and therefore the logical forms of approach, and the logical forms
of interior structure are totally different20. From those Bertiaux words, it is self evident
mechanism of reversal or even retrogression and atavistic resurgence. Kenneth Grant’s
backside of the Tree (with his de-evolutionary forces) is the only way to categorise and map this
strange realm of Nothingness. About approaching the Meon Bertiaux has also said: ... Hold to
the powers I have given you, for only by lycanthropic transformation, by being and firstly
becoming a monster shall the magician escape. ... Become a monster and escape that pathway,
that alone is the doorway of Daathian portal of total darkness. ...therefore doorways have been
created and you must put on the masks and skins of animals and others – horrible monsters and
hellish astral entities...21 There are few reasons for assuming lycanthropy for ingress into the
Meon. First reason is obvious from formula of resurgence as reversion of the magical equations.
Second reason is that the assumption of monstrous forms is a method of controlling sub-
chthonian realms which are designated in human consciousness as id. Monsters are actually
esoteric energy-forms which are perceived by our consciousness as such. This energy forms are
by-product of energy fields produced by tachyons during deep meditation. So, by assuming
monstrous forms we reversed situation, as Bertiaux was suggested, by this energy forms we
produced tachyons particles which we need to explore Universe B outside space-time
continuum.

Ophidian venoms on neural-holographic plate

Beside that instruction each individual magician should discover his own peculiar modes
of access to space-zones of the Tunnels of Set, or in scientifically term wormholes in quantum
foam. Entry into places of quantum interconnectedness is the eleventh power-zone, Daath,
which is attributed to Uranus. Daath, being the Gate of the Abyss, is the point both of ingress
into noumenon and egress into phenomena – it is the gateway of the manifestation of non-
manifestation as such it has the same properties which are attributed to the quantum foam. But
that are just a tools, not the essence of the operation. I will just hint on right direction which
would be certainly enough for initiated to understand. Gnostic voudon is before all else the
Ophidian and Draconian current. As ophidian current, modus operandi of magickal working is of
course kundalini or Serpent-power. Usual operating with kundalini22 power is to rise it up from
Muladhara chakra through shushuma till it reach Sahasrara chakra. Here is important
understand connection of this process with the already mentioned action of the brain of
producing tachyons. It is possible to assume that tachyons could be elemental particles from
which are ojas23 build. So far we have discussed in the text producing of tachyons in brain during

sexual. Operation used inside SVG for reaching the Meon is explained in Bertiaux suggestion to
reversing the magical equations or in other words flowing of kundalini. This operation is
something about which is written in Liber AL: ...I am the secret Serpent coiled about to spring: in
my coiling there is joy. If I lift up my head, I and my Nuit are one. If I droop down mine head,
and shoot forth venom, then is rapture of the earth, and I and the earth are one25… So,
reversing of flow of kundalini producing magical venom. In the Bertiaux VGW are described 16
types of magical venoms connected with different siddhis or magickal powers, which are result
of specifically activity in different chakras. Using the exact method of nesting the serpents
(appropriate connection between chakras, sexual and cerebral centers) and forming monad
spermatozoon26 according to M7R lessons, but reversing magico-mathematical formulas, it is
possible to create the necessary conditions for all magical operation with the Meon. After
invoking the corresponding Daemons, Aeons and positive and negative Syzygyes for chosen
operation - sixteen magical energy-spaces, which are the archetypes of Zothyrian physic of
alternative Universe B, the power zones on the body of initiate are opened and ready for
broadcasting of esoteric energies from Transcendental Id. The Quantum radionics recognize
these energy emissions and emanations as being beyond cosmic rays on scale of vibratory
frequency, or in other words we deal with already mentioned – tachyons, particles beyond
space-time. At the same time that is a prove that we working with something far different that
just Astral. These energies, originated in the Meon and broadcasted from Transcendental Id,
produced bioluminescence (identical as Klages and Schuler’s blood-glow) which is then
projected on screen of consciousness – or neural holographic plate, using the pineal gland as
the centre of neural energy field for this projection.

Oniric anomalies in parallel worlds

If we connect all those mentioned different theories, both physical (as new physic, neuro-
science, and so on) and metaphysical (esoteric theories, psychology) we could clearly see the
continuity of psyche and physic and as such we can assume a methodology of that continuity
and the isomorphism of the inner and the outer. We could imagine both universe and mind as
holographic. Working on mind would be mean working on Universe and vice versa. So, Esoteric
Voudon is essentially the physic of the human imagination, but also physic of Other Realities,
which are made of fields, tensors and vectors submerged in the ever rising ocean of the hyper-
kalas from the spaces between spaces. We must dare to summon dark and sinister shadow
beings from the depths of our cosmic mind if we want to work with Plutonian fire which has a
power over this hyper-kalas as erotic emanation from the Meon. Bertiaux has said that Art is the
eros of the Meon. The art as the eros of nothingness27 is quite convincingly shown on the
beautiful examples of Hiroyuki Fukuda art works, which could be seen in Kenneth Grant’s book
“The Ninth Arch”28. Melancholic emptiness in a look of The Goddess of Meontology and The
Goddess of Dream Control emitted, in the same time, archaic strangeness and sensuous lust,

pulls out dream images from a primordial ocean of pure lust and nothingness. The reason why is
so important for magician to work with the Meon is because there exist a never-ending pool of
energies from which transcendental id is feed. Working downward from the Pylon of Daath,
Tipharet appears below the horizon of the Abyss as the Black Sun which emitted rays of lust and
passion which are the powers of the transcendental Id and source of Ojas from the Meon. We
must project vivid veves upon the wastes of the Void, which will be manifesting as Lightings of
Uranus illuminating the Pylons of Chorozon. This will be reflected in astral waters of the Abyss
backwards as the creative impulse of erotic energy in the act of creation. But here I must warn
you all, that the sphere of limited human consciousness must be prepared to cope with those
violent and powerful row forces. When we deal with Universe B, we must never look into it
directly but through appropriate symbols. So, confronting demons of the Meon, which lay beyond
the constructive logic of our living environment, is very dangerous without proper training. We
first must known to ground this experience. The drawing out the powers of non-being, in the
process of becoming Something, express itself as passionate self-annihilation (annihilation of
personal or Egoic self) of artist which became medium of the primordial Nothingness. This
process is perceived with our everyday consciousness as oniric anomalies from the parallel
worlds which could lead to serious disarrangement of Ego consciousness. In an unstable mind, it
can even produce illness as a physical dream that reveals unresolved emotional and
psychological problems. But in other hand the mystery of Absence, of Non-being, lies at the root
of all creativity and inspiration. Actually, manifested - materialised world (represented as
Malkuth) is borne out of the One (Kether) and of the double One (eleven zone or Daath).

Egress
Here I will end my attempt to map this wide and strange realm of the Meon. From my
opinion, there has been said enough about nature and principles of functioning of the Meon, that
every aspiring psychonaut can try to find out his ways to them, but I want to point out on very
important fact, which was poetically expressed in Stephen Grasso29 quotation by Bruce Lee in
movie “Enter the Dragon”: ... it is like a finger pointing to the Moon. Concentrate on the finger
and you miss all the heavenly glory... So please, forget about my pointing finger, became
Spouse of Black Goddess of Space and Death just dive into the Meon.
