1.1. Prepare tools.
1.1.1. Platen & equipment = 2 unit. √
1.1.2. Chain Block 5 T = 2 unit. √

1.2.1. New belt BW 60" (C - C 400 m) with Specification NN √


1000/4P x 6.4mm x 2.0mm. (900 m/ 3 roll).

1.2.2. Hot splicing product (Top cover, Bottom cover, Tie √


gum, STL RF, Solvent, Silicon paper).

1.3.3. Install mechanical winch near inclination area. √

2. Replacing Belt (Shutdown Work)


2.1. Work Preparation
2.1.1. Dismantle Scrapper. √
2.1.2. Dismantle Rubber skirt. √
2.1.3. Dismantle any skirt board. √

2.1.4. Lift counter weight use Mechanical Winch at TH 3. √

Install the belt clamp (2 sets) at a position as needed.
2.1.5. Belt clamp must be positioned so that the conveyor √
belt is completely safe (not slumping).

2.1.6. Cutting existing belt at inclination area. √

2.1.7. Joint the existing belt with the new belt use √
mechanical joint belt (Super Screw or Flexco)

Loosen clamp belt, Pull existing belt with mechanical


2.1.8. winch then rolled the existing belt with belt winder / √
on the ground step by step.

2.2. Belt Replacement

2.2.1. Pull the existing belt with mechanical winch. Insert √


1st new belt 300 m to the conveyor from return way.

2.2.2. Splicing No.1 at 1st new belt with 2nd new belt. √

2.2.3. Joint the end of 1st new belt 300 m with 2nd new √
belt 300 m use hot splicing process.
2.2.4. Centering belt 2 meter length at both side. √

2.2.5. Overlap and step splice the lower part of the new √
belt.
2.2.6. Step splice the upper part of the new belt. √
2.2.7. Joint of the splice. √

Install Platen and Vulcanizing the splice (curing


2.2.8. Temperature 145⁰C, Minimum Curing time 30 √
minutes).

2.2.9. Finishing new belt joint, protecting belt joint surface, √


ensure this splicing is good.

2.2.10. Remove belt splicing table, belt clamp, lifting tools, & √
others, ensure belt is cleaned from all materials.

2.2.11. Pull the existing belt with mechanical winch. Insert √


2nd new belt 300 m to the conveyor from return way.

2.2.12. Splicing No.2 at the end of 2nd new belt with 3rd √
new belt.

2.2.13. Joint the end of 2nd new belt 300 m with 3rd new √
belt 300 m use hot splicing process.

belt 300 m use hot splicing process.
2.2.24. Centering belt 2 meter length at both side. √

2.2.25. Overlap and step splice the lower part of the new √

2.2.27. Joint of the splice. √

2.3. Commisioning
2.3.1. Install Scrapper. √
2.3.2. Install Rubber skirt. √
2.3.3. Install any skirt board. √

2.3.4. Lower the counter weight use Mechanical Winch at √


TH 3.
2.3.5. Remove sling, lever block & chain block. √
2.3.6. Dismantle clamp belt. √

2.3.7. Install Ducting, pipe, & bracing structure at inclination √


area.
2.3.8. House keeping. √

2.3.9. Running test without load and with load according 30 √


minutes.
3. ACCEPTANCE
ACCEPTANCE COMMENT
The work has been performed properly according to the owner
requirements and after the work completed, an adequate visual
inspection and or test has been conducted, and the result is
ACCEPTED.
