AUCTION NOTICE

On behalf of the President of India, Sealed quotations are invited for the Department
auction for “Disposal of old and unserviceable Air Coolers, Bicycles & Misc. articles to be made
by the undersigned as per Schedule enclosed and terms and conditions as below:-

The sealed quotation should be sent to the Executive Engineer, P&I Division, CWC,
Faridabad on or before 27-08-2011 at 15:00 hrs. and will be opened in the same day at 15:30
Hrs.. Intending bidders may present at the time of opening of auction bid.

The listed materials will be available for inspection sale” As is Where is Basis” and the
interested parties can inspect during any working days between 15:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs.
upto 26-08-2011 in the office premises of the undersigned.

Every bidder has to attach with bid an earnest money amounting to Rs. 5000/- (Rupees
Five thousand only) in the form of A/C payee Bank Draft/Pay order in the favour of Executive
Engineer, P&I Division, CWC, Faridabad. Without earnest money the bid shall be invalid &
disqualified. The Agency should have a valid PAN/TIN/VAT registration with Government, which
they have to enclose with the bid.

The earnest money will be refunded back to all the bidders except the highest bidder
after completion of the auction. The successful bidder will have to deposit full amount of bid within
3 days. The successful bidder has to lift/remove the materials from the office premises within
2 days of making full payment failing which 2% of bid value per day will be charged extra after the
stipulated time. In case of failure in depositing the full money and non lifting of the material within
the stipulated period, earnest money will stand forfeited.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the bidder without
assigning any reason thereof.
