up all external lighting. Check
lighting is correctly aligned & of
suitable brilliance for the application.
Clean & check for physical damage,
signs of water ingress or
condensation. x
2 Examine switches, ensure correct
operation & security, replacing any
damaged components as required. x
3 Examine & replace lamps as
required x
4 Clean lamps & replace any failed or
suspect lamps. x
5 Examine & ensure satisfactory
function of fittings, replace any
starters, tungsten, fluorescent &
discharge lamps & tubes found not
to be operating, & any faulty
components. x
6 Check for faulty tubes of low
brightness & replace as necessary x
7 Check flexible down leads &
connectors for deterioration & renew
if necessary. Tighten or secure as
necessary. x

Check control gear PIR & Contactors
& Time Clocks for correct operation

9 Ensure security of all components,
supports & fixings, report on
condition. x
10 Clean all glass surfaces where
