OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students would be able to:
1. Enumerate and identify the media and information sources; and
2. compare potential sources of media and information.

2. MOTIVATION
Ask:
Where do we easily get information these days?
What do you think are the means of getting information before?
Explain their difference in terms of: 5 minutes
1. Accessibility;
2. Reliability; and
3. Distribution.
3. ACTIVITY:
a. An activity sheet will be given to the students which were divided into 4 groups.
They will determine the sources of the information given to them.
b. After this activity, a representative of the group will explain their answers on the
class.

ANALYSIS:
1. What are your steps to solve the problem?
2. How did you identify the sources of information?
3. Where did you get the information to do the activity?
4. ABSTRACTION
a. Different types of questions require different sources of information. Information
sources may be observations, people, speeches, documents, pictures,

organizations, websites, etc. They may be primary sources, secondary sources,
tertiary sources and so on.
5. APPLICATION
a. Students will create an information source table in a long bond paper.
