1.1 Purpose
This document describes how to get started with the WMRR (WCDMA
Measurement Result Recording) GUI (Graphical User Interface). WMRR is
part of the RNO (Radio Network Optimization) application family included in
OSS-RC (Operations Support System Radio and Core). This document also
contains a database description.
1.3 Prerequisites
It is assumed that the user of this document:
2 WMRR Overview
The feature concept is to collect statistics from User Equipment (UE), Radio
Network Controller (RNC) and Radio Base Station (RBS).
• DL BLER
• UL BLER
• UE Tx Power
• DL CPICH Ec/No
• DL CPICH RSCP
For more details about WMRR, read WMRR Function Description, Reference
[3] and Radio Environment Statistics, User Description, Reference [4].
3 Getting Started
Start RNO from the OSS-RC workspace menu, or from ONE (OSS Network
Explorer).
• Starting a recording
Select a MRR WCDMA result in the RNO main window, and click Reports
-> WMRR. It is also possible to double click on a MRR WCDMA result to
open the Overview Report.
To read more about WMRR and the WMRR tasks open the online help.
Open the Help Viewer from the Help menu in the active window in any of
the RNO applications. Help is also available from Help buttons in any of the
dialog windows.
Note: It is possible to read WMRR Help information even if you open the Help
Viewer from another RNO application.
Tool bar Contains two buttons for navigation and for print
Navigation Contains three tabs, Table of Contents, Index, and Full
pane Text Search
Content pane Displays the selected help topic. The current help topic is
also highlighted in the Navigation pane.
