GOAL

Material Work Request not working in 12.1.2
Aftering releasing a work order, material requests are not getting generated.
This is due to Auto Request Material set on NO when not expanding the details section.

SOLUTION

When adding material requirements against an WO, if the details part is not expanded, the 'Auto Request Material' flag will be
set to 'NO' instead of Yes as expected.

If you press Show before saving, the flag is changed to Yes.

WORKAROUND: personalize page in order to get the Auto Request Material flag defaulting to Yes at all times.

The steps to set the personalization is:
1. First, you need to have the personalizations allowed (Enable the Personalizations via Profile Options in order to have the
personalization links on the OAF pages)

2. Setup the profile 'FND:OA:Enable Defaults' to 'Yes'.

3. Open Create Work Orders page (Maintenance Super User > Work Orders > Create Work Order)

4. Click on "Personalize Advanced Table: (MaterialsAdvTblRN)" link

5. Go to "Message Choice: Auto Request Material" and press on Update icon (the pencil)

6. Set "Initial Value" to 1 (for Yes; 2 for No) at site level (or your desired level)

7. Apply

8. User "Return to Application" link and retest the issue.

NOTE: if the personalization seems not to work, please set the initial value to 2 at all 3 levels (Site, Organization,
Responsibility) and clear the Framework Cache (Functional Administrator > Core Services > Caching Framework > Global
Configuration > Clear All Cache); then you can change it as desired for each level.
