I. COURSE NAME: CDI 6- Fire Technology and Arson Investigation

II. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a basic study of fire science, fire patterns, building systems, electricity and fire, fuel gas systems, fire related human behavior, legal
considerations, safety, sources of information and planning the investigation

This also focuses on how person used fire in committing crime and it’s also focuses on how to extinguish the fire

III. NO. OF UNITS: 3 units: 1 hour lecture/unit

IV. NO. OF HOURS PER WEEK: 3 Hours

V. RATIONALE: This course will cover information that will assist fire protection technology students in continuation of higher education goals and their employment in fire
protection
