anorganik, ion kalsium sampel bahan kecil.
Kemudian digunakan elektroda
reference untuk membandingkan naik turunnya potensial.

TEST PRESENTATION CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS

Protein electrophoresis is a well-established technique routinely used in clinical laboratories to screen samples to detect protein abnormalities (gammopathies,
inflammatory pattern…).
Using the MINICAP instrument, the MINICAP PROTEIN(E) 6 kit enables the separation of:
 Serum proteins into six major fractions:
o Albumin
o Alpha-1
o Alpha-2
o Beta-1
o Beta-2
o Gamma
 Urine proteins into five zones, for simpler interpretation:
o Albumin
o Alpha-1
o Alpha-2
o Beta
o Gamma
MINICAP instruments automatically process the samples to obtain protein profiles for qualitative and quantitative analysis. Direct UV detection provides accurate
relative quantification of the individual protein fractions. Profiles can be interpreted visually to screen for any pattern abnormalities.
Serum and urine protein electrophoresis are essential to detect and quantify monoclonal components for the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with monoclonal
gammopathies (Multiple Myeloma, MGUS, Waldenström disease…).
TEST PRINCIPLE
The MINICAP PROTEIN(E) 6 assay is based on the principle of capillary electrophoresis in free solution. Serum and urine proteins are separated in silica capillaries
by their electrophoretic mobility and electroosmotic flow at high voltage in an alkaline buffer. Proteins are directly detected during migration by UV
absorbance. Each fraction contains one or more proteins.
Two modes are available for manual peak quantification:
 Valley to valley
 Baseline to top
PERFORMANCES
 Throughput: 20 tests/h
 Sensitivity:
o Internal study has demonstrated that a monoclonal protein can be detected at a concentration as low as 26 mg/dL. According to the mobility of the monoclonal
component and polyclonal background, the sensitivity may vary.
 Full traceability and positive ID for serum samples and reagents
KIT DESCRIPTION
MINICAP PROTEIN(E) 6 (PN 2203) kit content:
 Buffer
 Wash solution
 Reagent cups
 Filters
 Bins for used cups

HEMOGLOBIN ANALYSIS BY CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS: A CLEAR PATTERN

FOR EASY INTERPRETATION
TEST PRESENTATION
Hemoglobin electrophoresis is a well-established technique routinely used in clinical laboratories to screen samples for hemoglobinopathies (hemoglobin variants
and thalassemias).
The MINICAP HEMOGLOBIN(E) kit enables, on MINICAP instruments, the efficient separation of hemoglobin fractions and detection of a large number of
hemoglobin variants and thalassemias patterns.
MINICAP instruments perform all sequences automatically, from sampling to the final clear-cut profile, with precise quantification and presumptive identification of
the most common hemoglobins.
MINICAP instruments allow high resolution separation of the major hemoglobin variants (Hb S, Hb C, Hb D and Hb E) and accurate quantification of the Hb A2 and
Hb F.
Hb H and Hb Bart’s, as seen in alpha-thalassemia are clearly separated and easily quantified.
The MINICAP HEMOGLOBIN(E) kit allows hemoglobin analysis on adult samples.
TEST PRINCIPLE
The MINICAP HEMOGLOBIN(E) assay is based on the principle of capillary electrophoresis in free solution. Hemoglobin fractions are separated in silica
capillaries, by their electrophoretic mobility and electroosmotic flow at a high voltage in an alkaline buffer. Hemoglobin fractions are directly detected at the specific
absorbance of 415 nm. The pattern is divided into 15 zones. Each zone displays a drop down library of possible variants migrating within this zone. More than 300
variants are listed.
MINICAP HEMOGLOBIN(E) users can request from their Sebia representative the HEMOGLOBINS ATLAS CD for more information.
PERFORMANCES
 Throughput: 8 tests/h
 Excellent precision and linearity on Hb A, Hb F, Hb A2 and common variants measurements
 Full traceability and positive ID for samples and reagents
 MINICAP FLEX PIERCING: cap piercing capacity and whole blood primary tube mixing
