Office of Transportation and Air Quality, Transportation and Cl imate Division Washington, D.C.
November 2017-November 2018
o Familiarized with transportation emission challenges and exploring data analytic solutions through
research and modeling techniques
o Examined bioenergy land protection scenarios to learn potential shifts in global land use/land cover
and the associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
o Analyzed model outputs and developed visualization and analytical tools (excel and web-based) to
support the development, implementation, and assessment of the EPA regulatory program
o Prepared technical reports, white papers and oral presentations on global GHG emissions scenario
outputs from modeling efforts which closely relate to environmental policy issues

Student Pathways Internship –U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, OAR, Office of Transportation and
Air Quality, Assessment and Standards Division Washington, D.C.
July – September 2017
o Investigated indirect environmental impacts (e.g. endangered species habitat and land conversion)
of renewable fuel feedstock production
o Collected, analyzed, prepared data and literature review into technical reports which aptly
represent the research findings
o Collaborated with colleagues internal and external to the Agency in order to achieve research
objectives
o Presented findings to the OTAQ office director, disseminated information in text, data visualization,
and online user-friendly formats (e.g. map applications, interactive dashboards and storyboards)

Masters Thesis Fieldwork in Miyun Watershed, China –McGill University

July- September 2016
o Collected technical information on future scenario natural resource changes and potential effects on
environmental quality and livelihoods in the rural Northern China countryside
o Fostered and maintained relationships with an international research team and a diverse set of
stakeholders in order to achieve project objectives
o Familiarized with methods needed to complete work in new cultural settings

ecosystems using GIS
o Investigated social-ecological capital changes and flood risk assessments to N.J. coastal
communities
o Assisted in preparing results for NJDEP review
