Technical conditions of building construction of passenger elevator

1. The dynamic power of the elevator is 380 VAC of three-phase, 50HZ.The allowed voltage fluctuation is
7%. Lighting supply is single-phase 220V, 15A.
2. Neutral line and ground wire should be separated all the time, the ground wire adopts the third mode of
earth. The section area of ground wire should not be smaller than the section area of the power line. The
earth resistance of the ground wire should not be more than 4Ω.
3. Each elevator should set up independent main power source control switch. The dynamic power and the
lighting power should be separated and be led to the place where is 1.3m---1.5m high from the ground of the
machine room. If several elevators share the same machine room, the operating mechanism of the main
switch of each elevator should be easily identified.
4. The environment temperature of the machine room should be kept between 5℃ and 40℃, the relative
humidity should not be greater than 85%(when 25℃).
5. The pass way of entering the machine room and the machine room should have fixed lights. A switch
should be set at the proper height of the entry of the machine room to control the lights while entering the
machine room.
6. The floor of the machine room should adopt slip resistance material and can bear the pressure of 6865Pa.
7. The machine room ground should be flat. The doors and windows should be wind proof rain proof. The
stairs or ladder should have handrails. And the pass way to the machine room should be unblocked all the
time. The machine room should be locked. The sign of THE IMPORTANT PLACE OF MACHINE ROOM,
ENTERING IS FORBIDDEN WITHOUT PERMISSION should be on the outside of the door.
8. The single side gap of the hole of the steel wire rope should be 20-40mm. A 50mm high, 50mm wide
waterproof platform should be built around the hole.
9. The air convection with the other parts of the building is not allowed.
10.The wall, ground, ceiling of the well should have enough mechanical strength and adopt firm,
non-combustible materials that don't easily attract dust.
11.The horizontal sectional dimension of the well is the clear dimension that is determined with the
plummet. Allowed deviations are as the flowing.
The well height is not more than 30m : 0～+25mm
The well height is not more than 60m: 0～+35mm
The well height is not more than 90m: 0～+50mm
12. Permanent lights should be installed within 0.5m from the highest point and the lowest point of the well.
A light should set at each side, and set up a light every 7m(maximum) in the well.
13. The pit ground should be flat and waterproof layer should be made. Stagnant water and infiltration are
not allowed.
14. Under the pit there should be no enough space that a person can get in. If such a space does exist under
the car or the counter weight, the bottom ground's load should be designed as 5000n minimum, and the
buffer of the counter weight should be fixed on a solid mound that reaches the solid ground.
15. Near the landing door, natural lighting or artificial lighting, the intensity of illumination should be 50Lx
at least on the ground.
16. When the distance between the adjacent two landing door sills is more than 11m, it is necessary to have
a safety door (provided by the user) to ensure the distance less than 11m. The height of the safety door
should not be less than 1.8m; the width should not be less than 0.35m. The safety door must not be opened
toward the well; the safety door should use a lock that can be opened with a key; when the door is opened, it
can be closed and locked without a key; even it is locked, the door should be opened from the car or the well
without a key.
