DARE TO BE DIFFERENT

"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but

let God transform you into a new person by changing the
way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for
you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
-Romans 12:2

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

-Philippians 4:13

"Letyour conversation be gracious and attractive so that

you will have the right response for everyone."
-Colossians 4:6

"Don’tuse foul or abusive language. Let everything you

say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an
encouragement to those who hear them."
-Ephesians 4:29

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT IN CONDUCT

"22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way
of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23
Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.
24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly
righteous and holy."
-Ephesians 4:22-24

Noah walked with God and obeyed God. Because of this, God protected Noah and his
family.
-Genesis 6:9-8 reference
"It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his
family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him
about things that had never happened before. By his
faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he
received the righteousness that comes by faith."
-Hebrews 11:7

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT IN THOUGHT

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the

Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could
imagine."
-Isaiah 55:8

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in

you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!"
-Isaiah 26:3

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT THAN AVERAGE

" 15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot
nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But
since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I
will spit you out of my mouth!"
-Revelation 3:15-16

"I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already
reached perfection. But I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that
Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be. I am still not all I should be, but I am
focusing all my energies on this one thing. Forgetting the past and looking forward
to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for
which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to Heaven."
-Philippians 12-14 (This is on my FB profile! :D)
DARE TO BE DIFFERENT IN ATTITUDE

"5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus
had. 6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality
with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up
his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a
slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared
in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross."
-Philippians 2:5-8

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT IN FRIENDSHIP

"A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in

time of need."
-Proverbs 17:17

"24Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of

love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our
meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one
another, especially now that the day of his return is
drawing near.

26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after

we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no
longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is
only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the
raging fire that will consume his enemies. 28 For anyone
who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death
without mercy on the testimony of two or three
witnesses."
-Hebrews 10:24-28
"He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible
with God.”
-Luke 18:27
