Welcome to Third Grade!
Hello 3rd grade families, I hope that
like me, you are ready and excited to start a
great new year! ☺ Welcome to all our new
families!
I am happy to be your child’s teacher and
look forward to creating many new memories
this year. As we begin the year we will get
busy right away if at any moment you have
any questions or concerns please feel free to
contact me via email, on blooms or come on in
to our classroom. Communication is vital and
will always be a priority for me and our
students. I look forward to seeing all of my
families on Back to School Night on Thursday
day September 13th, 2018 at 5:30 pm. We
will be discussing important classroom
information such as our new spelling/writing
curriculum that we are excited to begin.
Together we will help in educating your
child’s mind, body, and spirit.

In Religion, our first chapter students will learn
about Jesus’ life and the ways he taught us to live
as his followers. Each week I will ask students to
bring in different items for our prayer corner.
Thank you for your participation.
I encourage all parents to please ask your children
what we are learning in class every day. Remember
to always READ, READ, and READ! ☺

Sept. 3rd- No School- Labor Day
Sept. 4th – First full day of School
Sept. 4th-6th- STAR testing for 3rd grade
Sept. 7th- Back to School Mass @ 8:00 am
Sept. 9th – 1st Sunday Family Mass and Ice
Cream Social to follow
Sept. 10th- School Wide Assembly (NED’S
Kindness Adventure)
Sept. 13th- Back to School Night (5:30 pm to
8:00 pm)
Sept. 17th- School Wide Rosary
Sept. 28th- Picture Day
A Little About 3rd Grade…
**Our class will have mass on Tuesdays
**Third grade will begin reading during
Tuesday grade level masses
** P.E day Wednesday (P.E uniform is to
be worn on this day)
**Homework is from Monday-Thursday
**Every Monday is free dress for $1.00
