KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

I, A.T.M Kabiruzzaman a Diploma in Civil engineer and have got 19 year’s of total professional experience
as a civil engineer. Out of this total 19-year’s experience 12.0 year’s I have worked in construction firm in
roads, Bridge and building project and 7.0 year’s in international N.G.O (World Vision Bangladesh under
Cyclone Sidr Recovery Program based in Bhandaria as a Project Engineer and Post Cyclone Sidr
Livelihoods Reconstruction Program based in Pirojpur Sadar as Project Engineer where I undertook the
responsibilities of quality control of works including the quantity surveying, checking and maintaining records
of work done in approved measurement book, certifying contractors payment, measuring and recording
variation to the contract drawings, items and specifications. Preparation as-built drawing, all tender documents
and also maintaining the regular monthly report and necessary documentation as per project need. Established
program-monitoring committees with equal participation of stakeholders in each construction site and
ensure community participation in all aspects of program implementation. Ensure Adherence to
Humanitarian Accountability partnership standards in the entire program. Actively participation in forums
like Shelter coordination groups and network with other NGOs involved in similar activity. Established a
meticulous rapport with UNO, UE, PWD and LGED. Built the capacity of the engineering facilitators
through training, monitoring and coaching.

Significant accomplishment:

World Vision Bangladesh : 18 nos. School Cum Cyclone shelter, 35 nos. School construction, 10000 nos.
low cost slab latrine, 750 nos. low cost shelter, 20 nos. market shed
construction, 50 Nos.Deep Tube Well, CFW, FFW and also the DRR program.

Bhandaria site in the area of Education Component (Construction
Program), Cash for work and Water Sanitation Programs.

: Identify appropriate construction sites, Cash For Work and


WASH program in keeping with the guidelines provided by WVB
and GOB. Obtain appropriate approvals from the authorities
concerned for the construction.

: Establish close rapport/ working relationship with UNO, Upazila


Engineer, Upazila Education officer, Upazila Public Health
Engineer and other NGOs.Assist and work closely with Engineering
coordinator for the program implementation etc.
