Juniors plan-2019

Vision
Deliver the basic concepts of engineering and problem solving to
children to help building the future engineers.
Mission
Internal mission:
1. Advance the soft skills of the members in different fields.
2. Enhance the relationships between the team.
3. Qualify juniors’ members to be trainers and tutors.
4. Build up an integrated community of juniors which could
maintain the sustainability of the team.
5. Create an inspirational vibes in juniors by scheduling
frequent activities.

External mission:
1. Spread the engineering concepts and its applications to
diverse audiences regardless of their financial or social
status.
2. Increase the awareness of the parents towards their
children’s education and acquire the engineering skills
they need to track their children.
3. Prepare the students academically and technically to
participate in national and international students.
4. Maintain the integrity of the team to be a trusted
organization and consultancy for teaching engineering
skills for the young professionals.
Strategy
Developing the current members will be maintained by:
1. Trainings: head to members training and paid professional
trainings.
2. Management: each member will have the opportunity to
participate in events as a project manager or moderator.
3. Projects: engineering, graphics, and operations members will
work on projects that will participate in national competitions.
(e.g. Nasa space apps and minesweeper.)
4. Tasks: the tasks of each committee will be well oriented to rather
develop the skills of the members than achieve the mission.
5. Awards: the development committee will announce the best
committee and member awards monthly.

Structure
Marketing committee
Will be divided into 3 subcommittees (social media- graphics –
photographers).Members in this committee can work in one subcommittee
or more.

Number of members needed: 8 members (2-3 in social media, 2-3 in


graphics and 2 Photographer)

1-Social media

Responsible for juniors’ page on Facebook and other social media channels
(answering messages – writing posts – creating events on Facebook and
make sure it reaches as many people as possible)

- Covering during any event by posting what happened through the day.

- Make online competitions and questions.


2. Graphics
-Responsible for making the designs of posters, fliers, pictures attached
to the posts on the page,…

- Video making and editing.

3. Photographers
- photographing during any event, school campaigns, camps,… etc.

- Photo editing before delivering them to social media members to post


them on the page.

Offline marketing
-School talks and booths. - Visits.
-Booths in the book fair and important events. -Campaigns.

(The head of the marketing committee is the one responsible for the
offline marketing but all the members in the community will work in it).
Engineering committee
Number of members needed: 8-12 members.

This committee will be divided into 2 subcommittees, content makers and


capacity builders

1. Content makers
- Preparing the content of sessions in the event.

- Prepare power point presentations and other visual aids that help them delive
the content to the children.

- Presenting the content in a simple way that children can understand.

- Monitor teams in the competitions held.


2. Capacity builders (CBs)
- Prepare workshops that help children apply what the learnt from the sessions.

- create funny and innovative games to help the children to get to know each
other and have fun between the sessions.

Development committee
Number of members needed: 8 members. Each two members are
responsible for one committee.

Members of this committee will be divided into four groups. Each group will
be responsible for one committee and they will be responsible for:

- Monitoring the flow of work in other committees.

- Attending the meetings of the committee they are responsible for and
reporting it.

- Writing reports about each member in the committee they are


responsible for before, during and after each event and send them to the
members so they notice their development through work.

- Telling the head about the strength and weakness points in each
committee so they can give the sessions needed to fix the weakness points.

- Solving the problems during work

-Ice breaking between the members with the help of the heads of other
committees.

-Developing the policies and prevent deviation from it.


Organizing committee
Number of members needed: 7-9 members.

Members of this committee are responsible for:

-Preparing the rooms of the sessions by organizing and decorating it.

- Make gifts for the children.

- buy logistics needed for the decoration.

- Printing of the fliers, posters,…etc.

- Organizing the event.

- Responsible for the children during the event.

PR & FR Committee
Number of members needed: 3 or 4 members.

Members of this committee will be responsible for:

- Deal with speakers if needed.

- Deal with the university administration to book the rooms needed for any
event.

- Get deals to print and buy things in cheaper prices (with the cooperation of
organizing committee members).

- Writing Proposal and benefit package of mega events, co-working spaces,


universities.

- Finding sponsors for the events.

- Making collaborations with other organizations and student activities.

For those who have basics in coding will be invited to take
intensive session in coding, and will be required to spend the

to solve a problem.
