Objectives:
1. As Mandate by the Presidential Decree No. 491 or known as the Nutrition Act of the
Philippines, the National Nutrition Council (NNC) coordinates the nationwide
celebration of Nutrition Month every July as well as the Department of Education as
one of the agents to increase awareness of the Filipinos on pressing nutrition concerns.
2. The Campaign aims to contribute improved food and nutrition security by increasing
access to a diversified source of food for families and communities alike.
3. Inculcate to the student the importance of nutrition.
4. Encourage teacher to inform, campaign and encapsulate the message of the theme
the family food gardening.
5. Create activities that encourages, teachers, parents, student, stakeholders and
community to join the monthly celebration.

Taste/ Palatability 40% Good flavor and taste, not over-powering. Cooking should have a
good flavor combination and aroma.
Presentation 25% Dishes should be appetizing, has eye appealed slices should
moderate, portions correctly calculated
Correct Professional 25% Original menus and preparations must be correct and displays
Preparation mastery of basic skills, application of correct method
Correct use of PPE during and after the preparation
Handling / Hygiene 10% Proper hygiene during preparation and display of food
Proper disposal of raw materials, 5’s is a must to follow.
TOTAL 100%
2. TABO SA PAARALAN
a. Each Grade level shall provide a booth; they may use a big table with Big Umbrella or any
that will serve as their display area of their fruits and vegetables during the contest.
b. The products will be judged according to its number and nutritive value is also considered.
c. 10% of the accumulated amount of the tabo will be given to the T.L.E. fund.
d. The decision of the members of the board of judges Final and Irrevocable

3. NUTRI-KING &QUEEN
a. Each Grade Level shall provide a pair of candidates to represent in the contest.
b. Each section will pay/contribute 600.00 pesos per pair as pot money.
c. 10% accumulated total amount during the glass dance will proceed to the contestant for
classroom purposes.
d. 50% of the total score of each pair of candidates will come from the students choice in a form
of “GLASS DANCE”
Glass dance mechanic and procedure:
a. Each pair of candidates will dance in the middle of the crowd inside the dance hall while holding an
empty GLASS CUP.
b. Students who want to dance, may have the opportunity to dance with the candidates, filling up a
minimum of Php 5.00 on the empty GLASS Cup of their chosen candidate
c. The pair of candidates who could collect the most number of money will be announced as the winner
of that said event.

4. NUTRI-JINGLE :
a. Each year level will present their NUTRI-JINGLE composition, this will be composed of 25-30
members each group.
b. The composed jingle must be performed 3-5 minutes only. A deduction will be done to the
total score of the contestants. If the jingle will extend a second, minute or two.
c. Contestants are given freedom of what method musical instruments and materials be used
as long as they will stick to the minutes given to perform.
d. The decision of the members of the board of judges is Final and irrevocable.
ENTRANCE:
Contestants are given 3 minutes to prepare the instruments, their line choreography etc. and others.
EXIT:
Contestants are given 1 to 2 minutes to exit after their performance
5. POSTERMAKING
a. Open to all Ampayon NHS students.
b. Each contestant is given only 2 hours.
c. Students are not allowed to go out, unless his/her work is finished
d. Contestants should provide their own materials.
e. The poster must be 1/2 size of white cartolina.
f. Contestants may use Crayon, Pastel or Paint.
g. Advisers are not allowed to coach their students during the contest.
h. In case of complaints, written letter will be entertained.
i. The decision of the members of the board of judges is Final and irrevocable.

7. NUTRI-QUIZ BOWL
a. Each TEAM must have 6 contestants .
b. Contestants by grade level.
c. Contestants are not allowed to go out during the contest.
d. Each contestant should provide chalk and eraser.
8. AWIT TANGGALAN
a. Open to all students of Ampayon National High School.
b. There will be elimination round that will be scheduled by the Event Administrator
c. Each contestant must register to the Event Administrator
