Perris, CA, August 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- James C. Underwood of Perris, California has been
commemorated as an Honored Member by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide for his outstanding
achievements and high level of success in the field of photography.
Born on December 6th, James states that photography has always been something that he was interested
in learning. He started out in high school using the school's Pentax camera. He took photos at sporting
events, around campus and he was hooked. He began using his mother's Minolta and took photos for the
school newspaper and the year books. By the time he was 18 and owned his first camera, James, also
known as Chris, never passed up an opportunity to shoot a scene. He even had several of his photos
published in the local newspaper, “The Perris Progress.”
James studied 35 mm photography and also broadened his palate by adding the medium format
Photography 4X5, obtaining a Certificate in Photography from Riverside Community College in 1994.
During college, he was asked by a friend how much he would charge to take photos at a wedding.
Stunned that he might actually be able to make money at what he loved, James sat down with his friend
and came up with a price they both could live with. James continues to charge reasonable prices for his
work and is willing to work with people on what they want in a photo. He takes every opportunity to
photograph things that catch his attention and sells some of his work on his website.
In his spare time James enjoys graphic art, Indy music and spending time with friends. He has two dogs,
Zelda the Grand and Scratches the Ragged.
