• There are 4 ports in exch card of OLT
• Power level of ports at card will be +3db
• Max power loss till sub end = -28db
• One port we can give 32 connections
First card Ports in
1. Utstar 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4
2. Alphion 4/1, 4/2, 4/3, 4/4

Types of FTTH Faults
• Break fault
• Power loss fault
• Modem (ONT) and adapter fault
• Sub end Network Fault
• Modem (ONT) and Router Configuration Fault
• Voice Fault
OD staff work
• Converting Broadband into FTTH
• Inform sub about number change and Wifi router
requirement(mainly for UTSTAR ONT)
• Providing GPS of each sub with address to FTTH team
• Providing requirement of optical DPs (splitters) and its
GPS
• Configuring of New FTTH connections
• Attending to basic FTTH Faults
• Recovery of closed FTTH connection ONT
