Area teachers join EPIC Charter School
OKLAHOMA CITY —
The state’s 11th largest pub-
lic school organization for
the previous school year has
nearly doubled its faculty
and staff for the 2018-2019
school year in anticipation
of serving approximately
20,000 Oklahoma public
school students by October
1.
Three of EPIC’s new em-
ployees reside in the local
area. They are:
• Jennifer Walker, special
ed teacher, Red Oak.
• Shelba Wilkett, teacher,

• Traci Shearwood,
teacher, Stigler.
EPIC now employs more
than 900 staff across the state,
of which more than 800 are
faculty and all of whom are
