The document outlines the course syllabus for ME275 Introduction to Flight, a 3 credit course taught over one semester. The course covers 6 units: (1) introduction to airplanes and aviation history, (2) aircraft parts and configurations, (3) aerodynamic shapes, (4) elements of airplane performance related to steady level flight, (5) additional elements of performance including cruise flight, range, and endurance, and (6) principles of stability and control including maneuvers. The primary textbook is Introduction to Flight by Anderson and reference materials include Introduction to Aircraft Flight Mechanics by Yechout.
