 Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provided direct, quality and compassionate nursing education
and care with skills such as wound care, starting IV’s, drawing blood, inserting Foley catheters, hanging
tube feedings, EKGs, etc.

Patient Care Technician- Float Pool

Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond, VA. 11/2016- present
 Provides direct, quality nursing care to meet patients’ comfort, personal hygiene, and safety needs. Units
have included Neuro Science Telemetry, Intermediate Medical Care Unit, Cardiovascular Services Unit etc.
 Perfomed daily skills such as blood draws and performed EKG’s, assisted in various codes as well as
gathered vital signs.

 Provided constant observation with a compassionate eye for each assigned patient. Protected client’s safety
and security by preventing harm to self and harm to others. Provided excellent customer service to patients,

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
 College Ambassador: A volunteer organization at BSMCON that assists with new student orientation,
